  1. Hopefully Derby start to slip down the league table and eventually back down to the lower leagues. I find them detestable. Usually 'the enemy of your enemy is your friend'. But not them. They are absolutely that Red Filth's cuck.
  2. Sort of agree. I've watched winks closely twice in pockets of games, first game v spurs in particular. He was overworked. There was another game too, tho forget which. Vards bless him means we are effectively playing with ten men for 98% of the game. The workload is too much on Winks having to captain/organise/conduct the team (as he is captain in all but armband, particularly now that Vesty isn't there to dictate things with him)
  3. I'd imagine UEFA aren't over keen either. They felt pressured into it. I've been pretty positive about UEFA since they introduced the conference league and, unlike many, I kinda liked the relegation aspect between tournaments (so bumping up the quality of Europa and conference from quarter finals onwards) That's gone now too.
  4. Totally agree. But I'd take the decision to drop Vards to accommodate that. The Skipp / Winks / Wilf axis is,.imo, our strongest asset
  5. This is FT all over.. Dropping our best player this season,.Wilf. In favour of players the FT has never seen. Surprised you haven't selected Tete, Alves, Braybrooke, Diabete and Golding
  6. We've got plenty of decent players. You don't always have to be man for man better in every position.. We've got 13 or so PL level players. It's just the manager won't pick them.
  7. One of those was meaningless - 96.min when 3-0 down at Brentford
  8. Except Sheffield lost most games between 6 and 8 nil
  9. It's like us being 3-0 to Hinckley 😭
  10. For 5m and his wage packet, there are at a guess 150 similar level l, and available players throughout the EFL and Europe's second tier leagues that could and would fulfil a similar role. And be aged 23-28.. It was as unimaginative signing as possible to be.
  11. Good player. I like him. Might not have paid 20m for him but it's all pretend money anyway so doesn't really matter
  12. Great stuff. My tuppence worth. The xG can be a bit misleading as any elite at home will push harder and harder for the winner, meaning the xG is disproportionately high. Had arsenal scored and made it 3-1, they may well have backed off. Unlike Palace, I agree that this type of hanging on probably justified Coady on in that mini injury break at 88mins. We weren't inviting pressure this time, it was unavoidable Playing Vardy is a disaster. I think Cooper considers Vards a sacred cow. Even the crowd don't. And I don't think Vards dies either. He's clever enough to know that being benched doesn't affect his legacy,.impact or importance. I'd actually go with a false 9 and play Buonnotte in that role, and Fatawu wide
  13. I'm far from convinced McAteer is good enough. But 100% he has fitness and a respectable amount of standard pace. And 100% he has some height. If nothing else, those are two aspects BdcR doesn't possess. Yesterday it was an agonising watch when the ball broke out wideish in midfield and BdcR tried to take on someone. It wasn't there. He couldn't do it.
  14. I'd love cooper to explain what BdcR does generally and what he was supposed to do yesterday? Ive banged on repeatedly. BdcR is a nothing player. He offers nothing. Apart from saying something about experience,.I doubt cooper could actually name something tangible, like: 'he works the channels' 'hokds the ball up' 'wins free kicks' 'pace on the break' 'to shore up midfield' 'interceptions and tackles' None of the above are applicable. So, can Cooper explain what BdcR was supposed to do? As an example, let's say we brought on McAteer instead, i could have pointed out; Bit of extra height to defend set pieces and use his fitness to run hard down that left flank to relieve some pressure
  15. We are dealing with a manager who thought he was better than Stephy. It's quite unbelievable how anyone can draw that conclusion
  16. There's a reason for Ayew and he can be useful but it's an absolute crime the Fatawu didn't come on for that exact scenario if a breakaway. Plus, with fatawaus jumping power, he'd be better off marking saliba - certainly better than bdcr who has the strength and build of an average nine year old boy
  17. Exactly. We have a manager who actually rates a keeper who wouldn't make half of league twos' teams
  18. Good second half today. Well played.
  19. Outstanding again
  20. Agree, what was he supposed to offer in that last 5?? We needed some serious threat and muscle
  21. Beyond thick. We needed to up it from about 70 mins. Vards had to go off. That was the first and mind numbingly obvious first change. I'd have gone Fatawu to give them fckers something to think about. Then, yes, Ayew on 85 to try and kill the game.
  22. No height. No strength. No pace. And asked to mark saliba at a corner. Not his fault he was brought on, but why was he brought on? What was he supposed to offer? Cooper explain.
  23. Attacking?! BdcR?
