Problem is, the vast majority won’t. The group I go with, none of them have the bollocks to be against Top et al, through fear of not getting their free cake and beer. Were a minority on this forum, the majority of our fan base don’t take part in things like this, and they are the ones who would blindly follow the club everywhere, will buy shirts with betting companies on the belly and claim the free beers and cake, and be completely unaware of what is actually going on inside the club. The only way the fan base as a whole will turn, is if things get really bad on the pitch, to the point of getting whipped every weekend with no fight, then the majority will turn and potentially start to ask questions. The ideal scenario would be that doesn’t happen, we compete on the pitch but can air our frustration with the board at the same time, but this just won’t happen, the moment it does Top will wheel out the free beer and cake and all will be well again. It’s a very passive fan base collectively at the KP, the likely scenario at the end of the season will be we get panned every week, go down on minus points and the reaction will be “oh well, it just wasn’t our year this year duckeh”.

I think it’s contextual. We’re a completely different beast to the club we supported then, we may as well be a different organisation all together. I think what motivates this unwavering fear of failure in us, is the fact the position we are in, is plain and simply down to negligence at board level, it’s not like we’re a small club with no resources, we should be a comfortable top 10-8 team with the resources we have, but those resources have been mismanaged, neglected and poorly invested and it’s led to where we are now. I think when you take all of this into consideration, this is why people feel it could be the worst season we’ve ever had. Simply because of the great height we’ve fallen from. 2008 in terms of league standing is absolutely a low point for the club, but we were a fairly modest organisation then, we’re not anymore, we’re poorly ran, and there’s a genuine chance we could lose every game, and get relegation with the worst stats ever produced in premier league history.

Our only hope is that Cooper can create a siege mentality, and sets the team up to be solid and we shithouse teams. Pretty much the way we won the lot.

This, and there seems to be an air of unreasonable and unjustified arrogance about the club…. I think this is going to be an incredibly humbling season for them. I just hope it marks the end of the current leadership team, and Top has an opportunity to rebuilt the boardroom with decent football people, and receive some proper guidance for once.

Mismanagement of the club Not giving a shit about the fans other than feeding the sheep free beer and cake to keep them happy £25 for a physical season card £10 to watch a bag of shit get beaten by a second tier Italian team Deciding to place a betting company on the front of the latest in a long no line of distasteful shirts Hiking up the prices for matches so some people may now not afford to be able to watch us get you arses kicked every week Hiring a manager who is clearly out of his depth, and has already admitted in public he hasn’t got the tools to do his job….multiple times. None of this is conducive to a successful football club, Top has unfortunately lost his way, there’s reports of rifts in the board room, and Rudkin is allowed to continue in his role as if everything is normal. There’s no getting away from the hard facts, this team isn’t equipped to deal with premier league football, they’re weak, and lack integral profiles to be successful, we seemingly can’t land any of our targets and are being left behind by the likes of Ipswich. There’s no doubt there’s a horrible stench hanging over the club, and perhaps getting savaged every week may finally make Top realise this club is dead under him and needs some form of revival.

Just think we’ve got to pack the midfield and defence out. Sit and then look to hit them on the counter. There’s an overlap available in Ricardo and JJ. So the attacks can come down the flanks, which is fine because Spurs will leave spaces in behind due to the way they press.
