Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Pliskin replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Maximum deduction is 9…… how many times does this have to be said? Administration incurs the biggest punishments which is 9 points. We can only get a maximum of 9 points…and we aren’t going into administration…... and if we cooperate with the deciding panel, they can reduce the sentence, as they have done with both Everton and Forest….. The likely outcome will be 8 reduced to 6. -
I think in some cases it’s better to poach a manager, because orettt much the entire backroom is ****ing off, a manager leaving another club will likely bring their staff with them.
-
Hopefully they don’t take the bait…….
-
Chelsea already have ball playing GK. they don’t need Mads……
-
Not to diminish his achievements here, but it really can’t be ignored that Enzo’s style was complemented by a talented team being deployed in lesser division. It is arguably why we ultimately went up. I really don’t think in the premier league he would have got away with it, not with this squad. We need a manager who will strike a good balance, understand how to play to the team’s strengths and when to deploy certain tactics. I do believe under Maresca we would have been potentially done for next season, his lack of flexibility and inexperience would not have done us any good at all.
-
He’s been sacked from huge clubs though…… clubs that regularly dispense of their managers.
-
Kovac is a great shout, his system would suit this squad much better than Enzo’s system.
-
How have you never heard of Kovac 😂 Croatian legend!
-
I’d have him back as a coach/player. Third choice GK but within a coaching role. He’s such a huge personality.
-
Some peoples outlook is mental. Firstly, we don’t have ‘no funds’ available…. This has never been the case, and will continue to never be the case… what we can’t do is go around paying stupid wages, offering stupid contracts and paying over the odds for average players. We need to be shrewd with our business, which we’ve arguably shows signs of doing this summer, signing players like Mads, and Winks for peanuts. Provided we stick to a model of not overextending ourselves beyond the allowed financial restrictions, we will be fine. It’s not guaranteed to be a relegation battle either, the deduction is likely not to come by the winter, if we manage to get on a good run prior to this deduction we could end up being in a position where it doesn’t have a massive impact on us. No one is denying that it won’t be tough, it will, but by Christ, the last time we were written off we won the ****ing league. You can’t write us off, you simply can’t, no matter how chaotic things seem behind the scenes. We’ve got a talented squad, we just need a manager capable of maximising the potential within it, along with some shrewd signings we will be alright in my opinion.
-
It can’t be any more than 9, because above that’s punishment for entering administration, they will likely try like they did with Everton, but they will fail….. it will be a max of 8, but I can see it being 6 in the end post arguments.
-
I forgot Enzo signed him.
-
You do realise it’s the club that have an obligation to buy, not Enzo Maresca……
-
The right outcome overall in my opinion. I do think he would have really struggled with us next season, he is a great coach, did a fantastic job last season, but ultimately his shortcomings would have been a major weakness for us. Thanks for everything, and enjoy the toxic environment that is Chelsea football club.
-
Hmmmmm. Their fans are fuming….. so, one or two bad games he’s under massive pressure.
-
Just let people believe what they want…. Ultimately the rules are rules, and the maximum amount of deductible points is 10, this is for going to administration, which we haven’t…. So unless they change the procedure especially for us, we won’t be getting a 15 point deduction. If they try, they will fail.
-
10 points is the maximum it can be………… and that’s for administration, how many times does this need to be said?

Can’t, it will be 6 or 8 points and that will be that. They may try to give us more like they tried to give Everton 12 but Everton argued that supersedes the max penalty of 10 points, which is for administration, and they didn’t go into administration…… so, they can’t. -
You have to put snobbery aside. West Brom are skint, and yet he got them into the playoffs he also did a cracking job at Huddersfield. What I like about him, is he’s obviously very happy to work with what he has, and clearly can maximise the potential from what he has. What we need is a manager who wants to be here and is willing to carry on regardless of the off field antics..

To reiterate, it will not be 16 points. It can only be a maximum of 8 shown read it……. So that’s just plucking bollocks out of thin air, which Percy does a lot of recently….. -

It’s not going to be 15 points……. The worst penalty is 10 points for going into administration…. So that is a bollocks statement, yet again. -
Nope. Its football. I’m looking forward to us upsetting everyone again, once we finish comfortably clear of relegation and **** the experts predictions up again….
-
Obligation usually means obligation. Of course he will come.
