We won’t get hammered, Chelsea know they can win this without putting in too much effort. Still think it will only be 2- or maybe 3-0. I’m just bothered about seeing a bit of something that will give me hope that we can do what’s needed to win the league, or at the very least get second.

It will be a comfortable afternoon for Chelsea, they will probably look to get the game done early and then just sit back and cruise for most of it. Which I wouldn’t be too fussed about, as long as we don’t get battered and it damage the confidence further. A hearty performance from us could do us some good. 3-1 Chelsea.

It’s the same crippling hope we had last season. Ultimately I think we’ve already thrown it away. We keep saying Leeds and Ipswich will lose, but we shouldn’t be in this position relying on other teams. The fact we’ve relinquished a substantial lead so frivolously is just evidence in itself that we won’t achieve the goal of top two. We’ve given Leeds and Ipswich an inch, and they aren’t relenting, particularly Ipswich. It’s going to be a horrible 9 games.

It’s clear that this is now a full on title race. It’s going to be a test of metal, which is our weakest trait.

I do agree, I think my issue is, we’ve had a shitty fortnight on and off the pitch, and with promotion being so vital for our future it just seems like this is an unnecessary distraction……

If he gets an injury in a league game, so be it. But if he was to get injured in a cup game, when he could have been rested is another matter. You can’t remove the risk of injury every game, but for games like this you can, and we should.

And if Winks gets a season ending injury?

Because of a monument collapse due to nothing other than pure negligence from those that run the club, for which (Top is mainly responsible) that has potentially put the future of this club in jeopardy. I think that’s enough to have a moan.
