  1. Did you see those england fans leaving early and being told england had scored? Leicester fans? Imagine going all that way, paying all that money and then leaving a few minutes early...doesn't make any sense. I wonder if they'd do it again?
  2. And its that which causes so much dislike from the scot's, its not the english people, its the english media.
  3. It's clear the changes in the handball rule have tried to take any interpretation out of it, but now we have goals given where it was completely accidental. For me the intent should be brought back i understand this then opens it up to interpretation but to me it's still preferable to what we have currently.
  4. we look light years behind germany.
  5. we havent beaten slovakia yet....just seen IF.
  6. Congrats Stan and all the Indian fans.
  7. People are so desperate for this unattainable 'perfect life' social media has a lot to answer for, its not real. If there is a specific thing that you want then thats different, you can change your life and try and get whatever that is. But if it's just 'a feeling' and everything in your life is good, it can be harder to pinpoint. There is a lot of great advice in this thread so i won't repeat it but just searching for midlife crisis and relating to a list doesn't necessarily mean that's what is happening to you, its like reading horoscopes you can read into the generalisations and then make yourself believe these things are true to you. I'm not saying that there isnt something 'wrong' but i would just take a step back. Self reflection can be a great tool, some people dont do this until certain milestones and then when they do think its some sort of crisis. But its important to see your own importance and be grateful for what you have because if you don't you'll never be content. Maybe talking to your partner or friends would be a good idea, or if you feel more comfortable you could always seek out some professional help. Bottom line its normal to think this way at some point, you're not alone, and things can get better.
  8. Massive favourites if the bookies are anything to go by.
  9. exploiting foreign fans is something every country does, at least MLS prices are good.
  10. Yep, we'll mess it up and all whine about what a lost opportunity this was, just like every other tournament.
  11. what a chance for Ukraine, fluffed the shot, that'll be it.
  12. I ended up sorting out my sock draw during the match and my mate text me said he was doing his taxes.
  13. We deserve a tough draw next. Part me hopes we get stuffed so I can enjoy the rest of the tournament.
  14. John Stones, “it’s not easy when everyone has a target on our back to beat us”
  15. Everyone knew it was going to be awful, everyone knew it was going to be the same as it always is, it seems southgate thinks we can win the euro's playing this way. We won't of course.
  16. No surprise he barely changes anything...yawn.
  17. It would be typical England luck to do just that.
  18. Beautiful goal. Italian commentator choking on his Focaccia.
  19. People still don' realise how popular soccer is in the US, maybe they'll never realise or just don't want Americans to like it, I don't know. But to answer a question from a few posts up, the government (or club) wont expect 100,000 fans to travel to the US, they don't care about the fans in this country, they'll be plenty of American fans that will pack the biggest stadiums in America to watch the game.
  20. Just goes to show what clubs are doing 'behind the scenes'. No club cares about what the fans want.
  21. I don't think its in the english DNA to just have a party at footbal tournaments, thats what other home nations do but i guess its a combination of things, like sol pointed out there's an expectation with England fans that borders on a desperation to win a trophy, other home nations realise theres no chance they'll win so just have a party instead and any win is a bonus. The walks to stadiums is something every nation seems to do except england, its a shame but we are much more individual a supporters. Plus we seem to have the worst songbook ever and an awful anthem.
  22. The media are reporting 250,000 scots in Germany, no idea how they can predict these things but that's insane if true.
  23. Even my Dad (english) said he can't stop watching the scotland fans singing flower of scotland. C'mon Scotland!!!!!!
  24. Brilliant news especially as it's in time for the Scotland match.
