As if we're still in the top six after four points from twelve, and likely to be even after everyone has played. What a garbage league this is.
-
Two points dropped, went to shit once Skipp came on and, dare I say it, lost our attacking bite once Daka departed. Massively frustrating, because for the first hour or so that's the best we've played this season - we were in complete control. Ultimately a fair result, though in our case the conceded goal came from stupid individual failures - Vestergaard getting muscled off by someone half his size and Skipp - predictably - failing to track someone who wasn't even quick but managed to get yards on him. First time Marti has properly shat the bed with his subs. I hope he's taking notes.
-
Terrible defending. Jannik and Skipp, garbage.
-
Well done Bobby, best game he's had for us
-
He's linking up really well with Daka. Which is the real takeaway here - Daka's link up play in general today is way better than anything Ayew's done in the past few games. Great work for JJ's goal too. Which, considering it's one of the few things I've been praising him for, is telling on Ayew's part. If Marti has eyes in his skull and not a pair of snooker balls, Patson is getting his spot going forwards.
-
We've been predictably wasteful (scored with our only shot on target, missed the bag with ten others ), but that's the best 45 we've had this season IMO. Completely in control, albeit against a very average football team. Their best chance came from an individual mistake, which is the story of the Leicester.
-
Yeah I love him

Jordan James is such a classy footballer, absolutely running the show for us so far today
-
Not sure what people were expecting rotation-wise by the way. Their back line is slow as shit in a canal, even if he can't hit a barn door Daka is probably the wiser option purely as he's the paciest option we have. Hopefully we do see some of Carranza later, he had a stinker at WBA but on the flipside he looked sharp against Cov in his cameo. BDCR is far more questionable, but someone had to come in. One of him or Monga is going to play in the middle. More importantly, he's dropped all three of Stephy, Ayew and Soumare - the players the fans could see were our clear weak links. Yes it's a few games later than it should have been, but the fact it's happened at all alone is more proof that he's the most perceptive manager we've had in a long while. Even if it's not the exact personnel a lot of us wanted we should be backing the manager's choice. Bring it on, Disney boys.

Ok Marti, you officially have my attention.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
OntarioFox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
True, Super Steve is a hero. I just couldn't think of anyone else we've had who has done that sort of role in recent history besides him after we'd been promoted back to the second tier. I guess Ulloa did similar once Claudio came in... God, just mentioning Ayew in the same sentence makes me feel dirty -

Schteve Cooper has blood on his hands for that window. What a wasted opportunity to build on the good foundation Enzo had built. I don't even hate Ayew, I do think he has his uses - namely, hold-up play and acting as a spoiler on the incredibly rare occasion we're ahead and looking to control the game. But I like many others was kidding myself when I said he'd be more dangerous up top in this league. He isn't. He's the Steve Howard you bring on after 70-75 mins to tussle with defenders and win cheap free kicks. I can't even see him making double figures at this rate, which considering he's being treated as our main man at present is laughable for a supposed promotion candidate. The fact that many are now calling for Daka to start ahead of him shows just how much he's fumbling the bag as first choice striker. -
Nice, I'll keep an eye on it and contribute where I can. Noticed a blue patch out Northfields way as well, maybe another spot we could stick something? Yeah, I agree, I'll take it down as the art has been scrubbed now following the little call to arms. I think I was just pissed in the moment that when people zoom in on our city - and there are hundreds of thousands using this website at the moment - that's what they were going to see.
-
We're probably going to concede, it's us. But I've hate-watched these enough times now this season to be able to say they're garbage with confidence. We SHOULD be winning this 3 or 4-1.
-
Looks like someone attempted a Vardy 11 goals piece and gave up halfway. Someone from Sheffield's popped in to say hello though Meanwhile in Derby, things are perfectly normal
-
Perhaps the two are related I'll see myself out

Quick update, someone is in the process of scrubbing the message 👍 I'd still very much like to work with some folks maybe on making a big LCFC badge though, does anyone fancy it? Here's the UnionFS logo by the way. Chilling next to a Minecraft shovel and Sans from Undertale
-
Main reason I made this thread was to ask if anyone arty on here wants to get together and make something proper for LCFC? Listing the title winning team, a tribute to Jamie Vardy, hell even just the club crest, there's nothing there (though I did spot that someone has drawn the UnionFS logo, albeit very small - shout-out to you!) Not only is it kind of embarrassing to be one of the only cities without any proper rep, we also have an edgelord (probably from Coventry) using the space near the KP to make fun of the helicopter crash. That's what people are going to see when they zoom in on Leicester. DM me if anyone is interested, I work night shifts so I have plenty of time between calls to waste on trivial bullshit like this. (Took artwork down on request - thanks to those who helped scrub it)
-
Nah, not a typo, one for the terminally online folks like me - this is basically an ongoing internet collage where anyone can draw pixel art on a worldwide map - for example, you can zoom in on London, or Liverpool, or of course Leicester and find locals have (usually) drawn some cool shit. Link here - https://wplace.live Pretty much EVERY city except Leicester has some sort of representation for their football team (or teams). Some of the art is incredible. I'll even admit (through gritted teeth) that Cov and Forest have good efforts.

Premier League 2025/26 Thread

We done with the daft excuses about the 'unbridgable gap' to the prem now? Delighted for Sunderland. Proof that a little bit of graft and the right signings are all it takes. Nearly halfway to our points tally and it's not even October -

Given the table and how the game went, you can also say that's way more two dropped for them than one gained for us. That said, i'm basing that on us not getting a points deduction. These draws are absolutely going to bite us on the arse if we do end up having to make up an extra 6-10 points. -

Nah, I'm with you there. I do think Marti is drawing unnecessary pressure on himself by continuing to make selections that the fanbase would rather not see though. That said, A) he does seem to be learning, as with Skipp now being absent from the first XI, and B) I'm seeing more fight from the players than we got under the last two wasters. I no longer know a game's over as soon as we concede, so that alone is progress. On the second point, we need to be careful to channel that energy correctly. Today it was less fire in the belly and more losing our heads - a lot of unneccesary yellows, particularly Vestergaard and Monga. Though the ref was appalling and 90% of the reason we ended up doing silly things - Carranza should have had a free kick, gets booked for diving and plays on egg shells for the rest of the game. Like I said earlier, it's a decent point in the circumstances against 12 men. -

I'll admit Soumare had a decent last 20 - when we were chaotic and out of shape and he had an excuse to go on his barnstorming runs. The rest of the game largely passed him by. Again. And his collective brainfart with Vesty in the middle set their goal in motion. Think we were watching two different games with Stephy - thought he was yet again completely devoid of ideas and running into cul-de-sacs. While we were worse second half, we looked more dangerous down that side once Monga came on - it was just sods' law that Fatawu started to tire at that point and lost his own ability to beat a man. -

Take the point against twelve men, considering we played most of that with effectively 9 men with Soumare and Mavididi on the pitch. Great game ref. God I've missed the Championship.
