Celtic fans raging wish we had the balls to be that vocally against the board though. Poor Brendan dragging another club into the dirt, and in a one team league too 😂

Same bullshit, we just had a handful of (wasted) top class players who occasionally turned games on their own. I guess we win that game with a Maddison, a Tielemans, a Barnes, a Vardy. We got relegated with all of 'em. Unforgivable mismanagement. -
The 'safe standing in name only' has done nothing for it by the way, honestly forgot i was in it for most of the game until i leaned forward in despair from a misplaced Choudhury clearance and hit a bar

They'll fook off if we stay down Looking very likely at the minute. A few thousand empty seats tonight in the family and West stands that no doubt weren't factored into the 'official' attendance'. I've got a hoarse voice but then I've driven a hundred miles to watch that and had a skinful, I'm still gonna sing. No fooker else on my row bothered after the first 20 mins. It's up to the remainder whether they give a fook this time next season when we're drawing at home to Huddersfield and Bolton.

Premier League 2025/26 Thread

The thing that makes me laugh is neutrals still claiming they feel sorry for Forest fans and that they don't deserve this. Yaknow, the same ones that defended the Mafioso jackass to the hilt back when things were going well. I wish them all a very relegation and financial collapse. 😘 -
For folks on either side of this 'debate', I strongly recommend you do the same thing as the player's knees, and touch grass.

We could turn that on it's head and say that we've done this to ourselves by self-sabotaging our secure place in the top flight. It wasn't a problem having King Power on the shirt for essentially free for the many years we were a secure PL mainstay - or even in the years leading up to promotion and the great escape. But then again, we weren't throwing top six wages at increasingly average players back then. Or clinging onto a self-destructive worm of a manager because he won us an FA Cup and had a ridiculous release clause (then sacking him anyway after the damage was done). Factor in King Power's own financial woes due to the pandemic and the deck of cards has come tumbling down. It was never sustainable without wise investment on the pitch, which we haven't done since Puel was here. We shouldn't have to be relying on nasty, grubby 'companies' like this just to balance the books. It speaks volumes of the vile financial state of the club. By all means yes, take the money, but we as a fanbase should call it what it is - an embarrassing admission of our mismanagement.

Marti has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever and fill the squad with under 18s so BC Game barely features

Wouldn't want to mess with those two. They must be strong to pick up Rudkin and swing him at a bloke's face.

Nahhhhh fook right off with that. It was actually a nice kit too Clown club. Arseholes.

In fairness he may have performed better as a focal point, in the way that Ulloa did for us, that season. Fella had a cracking header in him.. Character wise though, I'd take Leonardo over him in hindsight every day of the week. Plus less annoying Algerian keyboard fans.
-
I mean it actively destroyed 8 years of hard work, so I guess the entire club was humbled. We may never recover to the place we were before it all went tits-up. Wouldn't say I was humbled though - eyes opened to how inept and slow to act our ownership are, sure, but if anything those of us who had seen the cracks forming a year or two prior and could see relegation as a very real, but avoidable, threat were vindicated. I'm still angry about it now. We had a once-in-a-generation chance to establish ourselves as a mainstay, not just in the PL but the upper reaches of it, and a mixture of cowardice and incompetence ruined it all. Now we're having to hype ourselves up for an 8PM kickoff against Portsmouth in the second tier and twiddling our thumbs waiting for a points deduction due to our financial shithousery.

My mate called him "Inl-uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh?" that season because of how slow he seemed compared to everyone around him. He wasn't even bad - part of THAT squad after all - but surprisingly underwhelming compared to everyone else. Even Nathan Dyer has that Villa game, but I can't remember a single memorable contribution he ended up making in his five appearances. Still got a medal though. Just.

Just woke up from a dream where Amazon delivered next door's order to me, went round to drop it off and it turned out to be Nobby Solano, who was room-mates with Christian Fuchs. Who I somehow mistook for Bruno Berner, which upset him. I have absolutely no idea what bearing that is going to have on Saturday's result, but it's a good omen? Right?
-
It's ok to admit - I was somewhat in the same camp after he'd put in some decent performances in cup cameos, particularly his knack for bossing penalty shootouts. Quickly became apparent that anyone can luck out and look good in the 12-yard lottery of a shoot-out after shutting out lower league opposition. Quite simply the worst to ever appear between the sticks, and I include Ricardo and Kalac in that equation. Knowing we paid Liverpool decent money for the fella just makes his time with us even worse.
-
Yeah but their fans are class remember? Best in the world. They're the international equivalent of Forest fans, they claim to be loyal, but as soon as the good times stop they'll turn on a sixpence. And probably try to fight the sixpence.
-
Don't even know who he is, but we should get the Czech Republic's manager in the door next season after his inevitable sacking following this Faroe Islands loss. We all know what happened last time after all.

Latvia clearly lacking the prowess of David Nugent

Aaron sits on his exercise bike, a bead of sweat running down his forehead. Tick. Tick. Tick. Every second another closer to zero hour. "I'm angry." Close up on his eyes. He leans forwards, and the music intensifies. Faster. Faster. "This is personal". Flashbacks to the shot from distance at Oxford. Another close up as the bead of sweat splashes away, and the pace increases. "Redemption". Another cutaway to the challenge that led to this. The music cuts, and a phrase echoes, like a whisper on the wind... 'I got the ball ref!...ref!...ref!...' The music kicks back in, the camera zooms closer and closer to Aaron as his routine reaches its crescendo. "And when it comes..." We end on a close up of his eyes "... I'm gonna celebrate Jannik's goal SO HARD." Fade to Black 'AARON RAMSEY: THE RETURN" £10, book now, only at the King Power Stadium

We saw Lookman was a serious talent on the rare occasions when we dropped the Rodgersball bullshit and he was allowed to play to his strengths. That goal against Liverpool was a fleeting glimpse of what could have been if we'd played more direct. The flipside of that is that, if we did get him permanently, he would have almost certainly stagnated in the environment Brendan created post-FA Cup. We were already rotting from the inside by the end of that season.
