My retro glasses are not rose tinted. The squad may not have been strong enough to battle near the top in his last season but should easily have been able to finish mid table. It felt like Rodgers at times played the likes of Ward just to make a point like a dirty protest. Board very culpable too though by being much too slow to act on binning the mardy scheming goblin.
