He should coast this league. Very concerning how bad he looks and how little he appears to care. Looks absolutely miserable as a city player.
-
Agreed. Maybe if he shows he cares about something he'll get that move he so desires
-
A few points: - what an absolute tosser. He genuinely thinks he's bigger than the club (he keeps relegating) - he is (unfortunately) a better choice than Okoli. Especially in this league when we dominate the ball
-
Nothing wrong with a bit of experience down the spine of the team, especially with a relatively young keeper now starting. Vestergaard and Soumare can be decent players if they want to be. They didn't last season, but hopefully that's changed. Nelson is v raw (of course we'd all prefer an academy player start) and Winks was a disgrace last season. It's hardly a disaster that neither is playing from the off.

Building a team for the championship. Love it
-
But selling a player who is integral to our promotion chances, on the cheap, can't be wise. Not as drastic, but gives me the same chills as letting Kasper go for Ward. And we all know how that went...
-
Sorry, what!? We're going from a top keeper to an ok one. And one who can play the way we want, to one that can't. It's a huge downgrade and one that massively dents our promotion hopes.
-
I'm fed up of this club. Reject bids for years for piss poor players who never play, but sell our best players on the cheap. This will drastically change how we play now (or just make us far weaker).
-
I'd laugh if I didn't support and know how lcfc operate
-
Good championship player but don't see him becoming a consistent PL player. I'd take him on a free if we needed to strengthen that area, but we don't...
-
Makes sense. It's the one position we absolutely don't need anyone.
-
Also cannot believe this. Presumed he was going for free as some sort of goodwill gesture. He was awful last season.
-
Cannot believe they're rejecting that. At least £5m above his value.
-
We have 3 or 4 players who are prem quality and will ensure we're fighting for promotion. I really think we need to hold onto them and look to recoup money elsewhere. We've shown it can be done with Coady. BEK, Mads, Abdul et.al need to stay unless the money is too good to turn down.
-
I get that but selling arguably our best player under their market value is never good business.
-
"Hello. Can we have your goalkeeper on the cheap?" "No!" "We'll buy someone else instead then 🤫😉😏" "No its fine have him sorry!"
-
I refuse to believe our negotiation team are that easily played...
-
Ah, gutted tbh. I think this could be the difference between a top 2 and top 6 finish.
-
Wout. Swimming with crocs.
-
If we can make/save money elsewhere then this is great. We keep by far and away the best keeper in the league. Tough luck for Stolarzyk but he isn't the same level. That's football!
-
Skipp would 100% be sat in the corner sulking that someone else likes the girl he fancies
-
Agree. He'll be the best keeper in the league by some margin. Huge confidence boost for the side and he probably pumps up his asking price when the inevitable does happen.
-
Just seen him walk out of the co op absolutely buzzing. Had a 4 pack of ice cream cones?
-
Never heard of him. He must be decent! Apparently Stoke got him for free? How dim must his previous club have been?!
-
Was so good for a few years. Mad to think he was one of the best in the world in that DM position. Quite the drop off post pandemic and by far and away the worst finisher I've ever seen in the professional game (yes, Daka included). Wish him well and would rather see others go, but this will save us a good amount of money.
