  1. I'd laugh if I didn't support and know how lcfc operate
  2. Good championship player but don't see him becoming a consistent PL player. I'd take him on a free if we needed to strengthen that area, but we don't...
  3. Makes sense. It's the one position we absolutely don't need anyone.
  4. Also cannot believe this. Presumed he was going for free as some sort of goodwill gesture. He was awful last season.
  5. Cannot believe they're rejecting that. At least £5m above his value.
  6. We have 3 or 4 players who are prem quality and will ensure we're fighting for promotion. I really think we need to hold onto them and look to recoup money elsewhere. We've shown it can be done with Coady. BEK, Mads, Abdul et.al need to stay unless the money is too good to turn down.
  7. I get that but selling arguably our best player under their market value is never good business.
  8. "Hello. Can we have your goalkeeper on the cheap?" "No!" "We'll buy someone else instead then 🤫😉😏" "No its fine have him sorry!"
  9. I refuse to believe our negotiation team are that easily played...
  10. Ah, gutted tbh. I think this could be the difference between a top 2 and top 6 finish.
  11. Wout. Swimming with crocs.
  12. If we can make/save money elsewhere then this is great. We keep by far and away the best keeper in the league. Tough luck for Stolarzyk but he isn't the same level. That's football!
  13. Skipp would 100% be sat in the corner sulking that someone else likes the girl he fancies
  14. Agree. He'll be the best keeper in the league by some margin. Huge confidence boost for the side and he probably pumps up his asking price when the inevitable does happen.
  15. Just seen him walk out of the co op absolutely buzzing. Had a 4 pack of ice cream cones?
  16. Never heard of him. He must be decent! Apparently Stoke got him for free? How dim must his previous club have been?!
  17. Was so good for a few years. Mad to think he was one of the best in the world in that DM position. Quite the drop off post pandemic and by far and away the worst finisher I've ever seen in the professional game (yes, Daka included). Wish him well and would rather see others go, but this will save us a good amount of money.
  18. Appreciate that. I did suspect it'd be related to my terrible core strength 🥲
  19. Biggest issue for me currently is my back. Just feels so stiff and sore when running. I'm fairly fit but it's fast becoming a problem.
  20. If we can keep Mavididi, Fatawu and BEK then we're probably top 2 end of the season. We just need to get those who don't want to be here out of the club asap. I liked the look of Nelson, who seemed agile alongside being strong and physical. Otherwise, the starting 11 did well, although Soumare looked done by 75 mins.
  21. Think our starting XI is pretty nailed on after today. Just hope that any offers coming in are for those surplus to requirements!
  22. If we can somehow offload BDCR, Faes and maybe one other chump, and bring in a complete forward, I'd be quietly confident.
  23. Nearly. Already faster than Ayew!
  24. Any player who was shit under Cooper and RVN gets a free pass. He was outstanding for 6-12 months and, as others have said, was ruined by the injury. I still subconsciously expect him to return to an excellent PL full back but maybe I'm overly optimistic. Would be interested to see what a competent manager can get out of him.
  25. He pretended to care, using his mouth to compensate for his legs. I found his faux consideration for Leicester quite offensive and the fact he's happily left to get more air time on TV the cherry on top. He's already more bothered about being a pundit than a footballer.
