Because everyone running the club, and subsequently the managers we hire, are stupid and stuck in the past. They only hired Martin because Pep praised him once (after battering him 6-zip or something). We are controlled by people with sub standard intellect. To be honest, this forum is full of the same sorts of questions: "why do we do [something inexplicably stupid] at this club?". The answer is always the same.

I think it is just one of dozens of problems at the club. Scouting, recruitment, finances, coaching, conditioning, tactics, inconsistent hiring and then overdue firing, long and short term vision, naivety in the extreme with regards to opposition planning, contracts, any semblance of joined up thinking. There is barely anything about this club that isn't unfit for purpose. I've said it before and I'll say it again... you could not deteriorate a football club this quickly and this badly if you tried. Every single individual in this thread would do a better job than Top or Rudkin. And that's not some silly angry football fan hyperbole.

I did indeed bin off my ST in the summer after years of debating it. I was so pessimistic about where the club was going, but appointing Martin and getting schooled by minnows every week is even worse than I predicted.

STOP GOING TO GAMES It's short term sacrifice for long term gain. Or, in this case, making sure Leicester City continues to exist. We've won 19 league games in the last 3 and a bit seasons, with 5 different managers, despite having a significant advantage over most opposition teams. The club is literally dying and people are sat there grinning into the middle distance like it's all OK. It really, really isn't and the club is rotting itself to inexistence.

Anyone attending the next home game needs their head examining. It's not loyalty to actively support the demise of your team.

I'll admit to wanting Oxford to score a 4th, 5th and 6th today. But only so the ***** ruining this club leave this club sooner. Until then it is pointless caring, but i do think if I was attending games I'd be seriously close to getting some sort of ban.
