I am getting slightly worried that other teams like Man U, Spurs, Southampton etc etc have all purchased new strikers in the last few days. What happens if Vardy gets injured or has to miss afew games for other reasons. We need a strong continental striker with a cool sounding Italian name hmmm luv to hear your thoughts guys!

Lampard messed it up by buying in this transfer period and spending over 200m. At latter part of last season he really got their existing players particularly the youngsters to bond and defined their roles in the game's. With all the new player's coming in they don't know each other and linking between them on the pitch has suffered.

I would be happy for him to go to leeds, maybe Biesla can coach him to fulfil his potential, can't put a figure on whats je worth maybe 12m?

Tony Cascarino also said this week that Man U should sack OGS and appoint the Leeds manager Biesla. So I don't think OGS is going follow Cascarino's advice and buy Cags when he also wants you sacked.

I think if he doesn't get his big money move its really going to screw Burnley up, he wants to leave and is allegedly doesn't want to play for them. Dyche wants 40m for him as he seems to control Burnleys income and spending, Tarkowski has said he doesn't want to go to West Ham so really Leicester hold all the aces.

Everyone also thought Michael Keane was great at Burnley but was found out at Everton. Defenders stats always look good when Burnley ply with 11 men behind the ball. Keane was rubbish the first few years at Everton playing to different system

I really think Leicester have the upper hand here, Tarkowski has said doesn't want (allegedly) to go to West Ham. He is going to be 28 in November and wants last big payday which he won't get at Burnley amd thats why he faking his toe injury (allegedly) and I can't see anyone else going for him in this transfer window. I think Burnley are desperate for the deal to be done and are holding out for 40m but would be willing to accept 30m on the final day.

I remember everyone thought Michael Keane was great at Burnley, we were interested in him and even there was talk of him going back at Man U. Everton eventually paid around 30m for him and he was considered rubbish by Everton fans the first few seasons (I don't know about now). Great for Burnley way of playing with 11 behind the ball but useless in any other system. We should really consider this if we are going to buy a Burnley defender who's going to be 28 in November for around 35 to 40m. I would rather we spend 35m on Fofana who i think will be a double that in a few years time and heading for Liverpool or Man City.
