All depends on how fecked we are financially I guess. I agree with other posts on here that a lot of our recent activities are posturing to the EFL/PL that we are doing all we can to comply but that its simply not possible in our situation. Let our best ever player leave with no deal offered, selling players that we are getting offers for, and not buying for fees/offering large contracts to any players… all to show we have changed behaviour and mitigate any case against us

I mean, I suspect the back 7 players there is correct, with the possible exception of Winks. And the front 4 probably the same as yours here but with Fatawu staying after all the other saleable assets are sold, and MAYBE a new striker in place of Daka if we are very lucky.

Selling all these actually decent players to fund the wages of unsellable dead end footballers who Rudkin offered massive wages to is the real killer.

He was pretty crap as the 9, then Daka came on, and he dropped into the 10 and became the best player on the pitch for 20-30 mins. Daka can’t finish but he moves opposition defenders around a lot and presses high, we really need that movement to get things going with the rest of that front 4. Any new striker needs to be able to do this too, and ideally finish 🤣

Booing him coming onto the pitch did happen before he scored the winner and reacted like that though... His reaction is warranted, in my opinion.

Am I the only one who liked his reaction to his goal? Can’t be booing your own players coming onto the pitch. Fans dishing it out but can’t take it.

I think you’ve got to find a way to play Bilal as an 8 alongside Winks, with Ayew in the 10 behind Daka, or a new striker who can press and moves as much as Daka does to pull players out of position.

Yeah, once Daka has been in front of him pulling people around it’s worked out a lot better for him. He’s better a bit deeper in general though imo.

Given the fans booed him coming onto the pitch… yeah. Necessary and deserved imo.
