Those making excuses in advance ("it's the weather") would have *nothing at all* to say if they held no concerns that the protest will be effective. They're angry - that's a good sign. Many (not all!) older folks will *always* moan about younger folks. As someone from an older generation, I'd say that the reasons are sadly obvious. They'd *love* this to be a clear example of young vs old, whereas reality is nothing of the sort.

They're the ones who chant about scousers needing jobs, no? Deference runs strong in them

Stick it to the man

Hard one to work out is Martin. Clever, great speaker, even greater self-publicist, and did *very* well for us. Undeniably one of our very best ever managers. Despite this I never truly warmed to him, but I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe it's because he's so damned chippy?! Maybe it's something about the somewhat agricultural style of football? Maybe it's because he never really bought into our club. I reckon he had/has a personal style that'd work well with a particular type of footballer, which he did *very* well to recruit in numbers at City

I'll try again. Did Megson deploy MDV and *Carl Cort* as wingers? Been wracking what is left of my brains...
