  1. Surely a supporters club can only be deemed to be 'official' if they are in some way linked to the club, through either being run by the club themselves, or bound by some sort of code of conduct, part of which would no doubt be to not criticise the club in public/to the media. This should surely render their, or anyone linked to them, opinion on this matter totally moot.
  2. Just watch our game this afternoon if you wanna watch someone get fcuked by 11 lads at the same time. Probably cheaper and doesn’t look as bad on the credit card bill.
  3. I have always maintained that back up goalkeeper might be the best job in football. You get to go to training every day, do goalkeeper drills which always look way more fun than the ones the outfield players are doing, little pressure as people expect you not to be as good as the first choice, the second choice won't ever get drafted in to play U-23's, and you get paid tens of thousands a week for the privilege. However, the least you can do is keep yourself in shape and be ready play if called upon, I don't think Ward does either of these things. He didn't offer himself 50K a week, if that is what he's on, but if you accept that and don't even do the bare minimum that's expected of you, you have to accept it when you get a bit of stick. For what it's worth, I didn't agree with the wide scale booing and jeering at the Wolves game, but at least we haven't seen him again.
  4. He'd probably still beat Vestergaard in a foot race
  5. I would be very surprised if he had only called out the two mentioned in the article. The leak, whoever it is, is fairly obviously designed to paint Ruud as the bad guy in this scenario. Whoever has given the information will know that the optics of him having a go a Buonanotte and Okoli will paint him in a worse light than were he to call out some of the older players, who are frankly more deserving of criticism. In saying that, having a go at a player who hasn't played in months, for wearing the wrong boots of all things, is fairly unhinged behavior and does reek of a guy who's losing the plot.
  6. Spotted him piling up to the KP around 45 mins before kick off for the Palace game, players already out on the pitch warming up. Doesn't strike me as someone who's particularly integrated himself in to the squad. Was driving a 24 plate Urus though, must nice work if you can get it.
  7. Still pissed me off that when we won the PL it was Top who carried the trophy round the pitch.
  8. And you’ll be spending the rest of your inheritance in the Masters shop onsite! The tales of how much stuff some people buy are obscene, to the point I think you can UPS it straight home rather than have to carry it around all day.
  9. Black Mercedes mini van, surrounded by stewards, moving slowly through crowds away from the game just now. Top making a quick exit?
  10. Surely he's implying that the club will feed Percy some information about incomings in an effort to deflect attention from this.
  11. Don’t know if it’s just us, as I haven’t been to an away for a few years now, but every time a player misplaces any sort of pass at the KP you hear audible groans from what feels like the whole stadium. I get feeling frustrated when players misplace passes, especially relatively straight forward ones, but have long felt this contributes to the players taking the safe option more often than not, which in turn frustrates fans even more when there’s a slightly more risky yet high reward pass on.
  12. Absolutely, it's no coincidence that this always seems to happen to poorly coached teams or players with a history of doing stupid sh1t. The irony is, it's a guy trying to look nonchalant as if it's something he does every week, and he's not scored a TD since October.
  13. The 8 points he (literally) chucked away looks as thought it could cost my fantasy team a spot in the play-offs. Not overly arsed about it, but it does rub salt in the wounds considering how sh1t he's been most of the season. Things like this must drive you mad as a coach, RB's are going to fumble from time to time, but to literally chuck it away trying to look cool as you cross the goal line is totally moronic and yet it happens so often!
  14. Genuinely feels like we’re living in an episode Succession/Dream Team. Top’s a real life Kendall Roy and he’s got Cousin Greg as Director of Football.
  15. I, for one, f**king love the Belgian justice system
  16. Think it’s harsh to say the defense let the team down against Baltimore when he threw 4 picks in that game. He also threw 2 picks in the 4th quarter against the Vikings with the game on the line. The debate on Prudy, and I’m not saying it’s one I subscribe to, is always around how much of his production is a result of the system he is playing in. He’s quite clearly not as physical talented as guys like Mahomes, Allen or Lamar, but it takes a lot of skill to run an offense the way he does and put the ball exactly where it needs to be on time nearly every time. As you say, he’s an inexperienced 2nd year QB, who wasn’t particularly highly rated coming out of college, and he’s operating one of, if not the best, offense’s in the NFL. It’s very impressive!
  17. I don't subscribe to Game Pass anymore, and I know it moved to a DAZN based platform at the beginning of the season so it may have changed, but you definitely used to be able to change the settings as to whether you wanted to have the scores displayed on the game selection dashboard. Used to love the Game in 40 feature, was a great way to watch pretty much a whole game in 40 odd minutes.
  18. Would love for this one to happen, ideally, a loan with an option to buy. We were quite clearly after 2 left footed wingers in the summer, hence both Fatawu and Akgün coming in on loan. With Akgün seemingly more suited centrally, a further wide option that would allow us to rotate and provide injury cover makes sense. If we could secure a loan with an option to buy we'd be set up with a very promising set of wingers going in to the PL next year, we're going to lose Albrighton at the end of the season which would leave us with just Mavididi, Fatawu, McAteer and Marcal as wide options going in to next year, and whilst both Marcal and McAteer had some nice moments early in the season, they are still massively unproven and this guy looked several levels above in the Championship last year.
  19. Even more ridiculous considering they scored zero points in their last game.
  20. On the Toney play. It's shame to see such an innovative, and exciting play called back, especially at a pivotal moment of the game. Mahomes is right, him being offside had absolutely no impact on the play, but he was so egregiously offside that they had to call it. The number of times it feels like Mahomes and the Chiefs are the beneficiaries of a borderline call, it's hard to feel a great deal of sympathy for them.
  21. I love american football, but the Vikings - Raiders game last night almost had me on the phone to Samaritans. By the end of the 3rd quarter I actually wanted it to finish 0-0.
  22. As long as the combination of Red Bull and Max are as far ahead as they currently are, Checo, or someone of his caliber, is perfectly fine for them. Max can virtually win the constructors championship alone, and his teammate cannot get close enough to challenge him. As soon as another team gets close enough, or separates themselves into second, so that Max cannot do it all on his own, whether that be Mercedes, Ferrari, Mclaren, or Aston, will be when they have an issue. And there will hopefully come a point where Max will need his teammate to help him out rather than just driving 10+ seconds up the road and the only time we see him on the coverage is when he crosses the finish line. Currently, it's the perfect scenario for them. Their star driver, who has a history of being a bit petulant when challenged by a driver from another team, or his teammate, doesn't have to worry about being challenged, and they can still win the constructors comfortably. Would love to see Alonso in the other car, he seems to have a healthy respect for Max but would not be afraid to get his elbows out and ruffle a few feathers. But it won't happen, Team Max would not react well to someone more competitive being put in the other Red Bull, we've seen how they (Jos) have reacted the few times Checo has dared to beat him, someone who could challenge him more consistently would cause them a real headache. Max would still win the drivers as he is the best out there at the moment, but the aggro and noise is something I am sure Horner would rather do without. There always seem to be rumours about Lando and Red Bull, I hope this doesn't happen though as I like what Mclaren have going on and think Max would eat him alive.
  23. The final Tw@ right at the end always gets me, unbelievable timing.
