  1. Wallace & Gromit was good again and high standards maintained. Never fancied Gavin & Stacey so not drawn in by the BBC spending so much time on the publicity. Seen snippets over the years.
  2. Should have been violent conduct incident so wrong charge laid by the twerps in charge. Anyway Leicester's problems not caused by Wolves so our own fault if we can't get out of bottom three. Would just prefer the game to be run professionally
  3. Absolutely. All very well that Cunha might get a ban at some point but he has been allowed to help contribute to points accumulated where Wolves will be in a much improved position
  4. I still can't believe Cunha situation allowed to drift. I wonder how the bloke he assaulted feels watching him revel in celebrations. If Cunha had simply told the ref to FO at the end of the match he would have been red carded and banned for next match
  5. If we would bring them back Matt Gilles to ask what the heck he was thinking dropping Ken Leek for 61 Cup Final. Non City then Jimmy Greaves for a soft drink only of course
  6. Wonder what the betting is for a City player sent off in first half just worsen it all
  7. We need a grey/white kit to make it harder for the ref
  8. I remember seeing Help at age 9 at the local cinema. I recall the young girls screaming at the screen as if the fab four were on stage! Whatever caught your attention you certainly did well to stick with them.
  9. Unlikely to beat Liverpool over 2 legs but can happen. With a favourable FA Cup draw they could win it whatever their fragile core.
  10. Annoying for us but fair play to Forest for the progress this season. I would be more concerned if Liverpool and Arsenal not so good this season. Still I would love a miracle spoke in the wheel and we beat Liverpool
  11. Spurs league position is a danger sign for the manager though the cups may save him and all forgiven in short term if they end their drought and win one.
  12. I think you had advanced musical taste at age 7
  13. Ha. I know for for the discerning drinker but obviously consumed by others
  14. Great shame we probably all doubt we can be competitive in this match let alone get a result. Anything less than a four goal defeat will seem almost acceptable
  15. Hope is has a good secure game
  16. Well I'm far from an expert but I've found Jameson and Bushmills to be smooth and mellow compared to blended Scotch such as Grants or Bells etc. Certainly less harsh on the throat.
  17. Not a big drinker but have enjoyed the odd whisky over the years. As I've got older I seem to enjoy Irish Whiskey more than Scotch. Seems a smoother flavour somehow
  18. Yes, thanks. June 77 a year to the day we met. Still together
  19. Not Filbo but there is an old Pathe type thing from early 60s with Cliff Michelmore about going to the match (in colour too) this is a shot at White Hart Lane of hundreds of fans getting their bikes after the game. How times change
  20. 0-12 against Forest in 1909 is the deepest benchmark
  21. The Christmas presents I associate most with childhood in the 60s are annuals like The Victor and The Topical Times Football Book. Moving into adult times it would only be right to acknowledge I got engaged Christmas Eve 1976
  22. I suppose Ward is only a symptom rather than the cause of our woes. Mads has been great but the amount of chances conceded and defensive errors by the rest of the team needs radical attention
  23. Not sure I agree with impressive career bit. Only 136 senior club matches at age 31 is not impressive.
  24. I remember when Mark Grew came in for a few games when Mark Wallington was out. Just a relief when Wallington was back. Incredible the long contract Ward was given plus the outrageous fee we paid
