It’s very very soon to sack somebody. FT is infamous for panic first, be rational later, but I guess the worry from most is because there is so much riding on this season. Hiring Cooper in the first place was the wrong move, but we’re stuck with him for now. Many said at the time that he wasn’t the right fit, and I don’t think it’s got anything to do with him being an ex red. Back in the prem at the first time of asking, but the relegation has hit us hard - team and management are significantly weaker. It’s going to take a long time to rebuild from this. What a pissing quick fall this has been.

Being an international doesn’t mean much. VK is in his national squad, and Danny Ward was the year we went down.
