I think most people feel we have already lost the advantage we had but you are right we are still on pole. I always thought that something like this may happen. Let’s see how we get on Saturday. If we win the next two we will be in a very good position. But I think we should always go into every game giving it our all and with desire to win.

So they are in exactly the same position as all the top four contenders? sorry just seen this has been raised already.

Though I still think Enzo will choose Faes over Coady and leave Ricardo in the inverted role with Ndidi in the number 8 position. This game is a must win for us and if we win the next two we will be in a great position.

Getting a draw is taking points off someone and as I say it’s too far ahead to predict what we will ‘need’ as of now. Leeds are in the better position as they have points in the bag. If you believe they are an equal threat and that final match is a draw then it’s good for us potentially as no one is getting maximum points.

The are arguments for all outcomes but I agree a draw seems best. That Leeds match at the end could still be pivotal and we will likely want Southampton to get a result. So much can happen in the meantime though and even if saints are in the playoffs they will want to keep match sharp. Best thing is to win three ourselves.

I agree but wouldn’t have fatawu in midfield. He does the tracking back as well as anyone and isn’t afraid to put the tackle in. But he does have an occasional rash tackle in him so I would keep Ricardo in the centre midfield and closer to the defence as his pace and experience will be essential there. Fatawu has shown he is very dangerous in the forward line so why change. He will still track back and Ricardo will still move into advanced positions. There are endless combinations we could put out there that could do the job. What matters is teamwork effort and desire is shown by those who take part. Understanding is improved by keeping a reasonably settled team so I wouldn’t expect sweeping changes. We have created chances we just need to convert them.. Likewise at the back just keep our concentration and discipline and get the balance right especially when we are camped around a low block defence.

I’ve always thought he came across like that too. Honest decent lad. Nowadays though it’s almost seen as the professional thing to do to win a penalty just as making a professional foul is seen as taking one for the team. It is what it is.

If it isn’t working then you have to try something different. Albrighton always gets overlooked at the start of a managers reign or season. Marc is a much underated player and the on pitch chemistry between him and Vardy is worth trying if we need something different. IMO. btw. I do think fatawu and mavidid have been good acquisitions and should start whenever possible. But it doesn’t always work and people have off days particularly given the gruelling schedule.

Meltdown

We need some changes now cos we are looking piss poor.. Lose this and we don’t deserve promotion.

Daka is just completely devoid of confidence. Get Vardy in now. Put him and us out of this misery.

I don’t think we are. Most of the players are trying hard and we have got in some good positions. But daka is totally devoid of confidence and all their fullbacks have got to do is to show our wingers down the line. We were camped outside their box and they broke quickly. Faes didn’t close down the space and they scored a good goal. We have to do much better than this. Enzo needs to make a change and hope he is giving them the truth at half time cos this is not good enough.

We have played well up until the decisive moment. This isn’t the game for Daka if we are camped around their box. Wish he would make the changes quick. Another breakaway and we really are in trouble.
