I have really learnt to detest Leeds this season. I hope Ipswich beat them to second place. byrom complaining about that card. I hope they have some really bad decisions in this match. About time.

We are top of the table and likely will be promoted, possibly as champions. Early on in the season our results were probably better than our performances deserved. We have stuttered a bit of late as we approached the line but we have always been in games and could probably have expected more out of those results. Enzo is a relatively young and inexperienced manager but he will have learnt from this season as will the players. Hopefully so will those higher up the ladder at the club. If we go up then the job is well done and we can start to plan for the harder task that follows.

His movement and runs tonight were vintage stuff. Against West Brom in the last game it was the same. He put in a couple of tackles early on that would have stirred anyone on that pitch into action. The guy is a legend and should be celebrated as such.

I’d just like to see our wingers take the handbrake off and go full flow. You have to take some risks in the final third but too often they pause and stop, a few step overs then go backwards. They are both capable of it. Against West Brom they both also cut down to the line and delivered good crosses with their respective weaker foots. Fatawus led to a goal. Strikers thrive on that and if the ball doesn’t come across eventually stop looking so often and make those runs. As you say it all happens in unison. No point holding back now especially tonight.

Yes me too. I’m always rubbish on match days. Just want to get it started but I am nervous for this one which is unusual. Just got a feeling. I hope I’m wrong. Probably just its importance.

A good friend of mine is a Southampton fan. The most decent fellow you could ever meet. I’m hoping they go up with us. Funnily enough though the missus is not a fan. We have been to quite a few Southampton games over the year and the one time we sat next to the away fans was during one of those games. There were a few kids gesturing and a bit rowdy that’s all. It’s an unjustified stance as she has seen a few scuffles at the likes of Man Utd Leeds Liverpool millwall and Chelsea but Southampton always sticks in her mind.

I think it’s best to prepare yourself for that as it has a fair chance of happening. If we do it before then it’s a bonus. Both Leeds and ourselves were lucky to win our last game but both showed resilience and fight. The same will be needed tonight. I suspect it may be a draw or a close 2-1 win again. It doesn’t matter how we win just get us over the line and next season will take care of itself.
