That’s a bit optimistic.

It’s been a difficult few years for supporters to be sure. It will have been exactly the same for our owners who have shown us incredible loyalty and support during their time here. Most of us have felt disgruntled at the leadership in recent times at one point or another. However I feel they deserve our loyalty in return at least with support and backing for the coming campaign. They will know themselves when the time has come to move on but not now.

Welcome to the club Steve. We love an underdog story here. So work your magic and let the good times start again.

Great one to start too. Not sure it’s going to help my irrational dislike of those cxcks.

Potter Corberan or even cooper. Three decent choices so just choose now while we still have choices. If potter doesn’t want it then he is not right for us. £4 m is decent value in the scheme of things. We don’t want to miss the opportunity that the pre season presents. That will be crucial to us staying up and we need to get off to a good start looking at those fixtures.

Yes exactly what I thought. Amazing how it suddenly seems real now. Exciting.

Kevin Campbell In Hospital “Seriously Ill”

RIP Kevin. You were one of the good guys and will be missed. 🙏🏻 -
Every thing I’ve heard or read about him is positive though to be honest and with Potter corberan or cooper in the frame we are in danger of being spoilt for choice here. They all are decent managers that could do a job for us. I’m not sure if they would all come but we should make a positive choice while they are available I’d be pretty happy with any of these. Maybe slightly less so cooper.

I think you are both right. It is the euros holidays and window is shut but that makes it a good time to crack on with all the analysis sounding out interviews and contracts. Come July we have a short window for preparation before the serious works starts so we don’t want to eat into that too much. That being said I’d rather take an extra few days or week to get the right candidate.

Try giving them £12 m and throw in ward for free. Opening bid but go up £15m.

Jamie Vardy Signs New Contract!

Yes we needed it! -
Doris is a pro. She wouldn’t let him near her tea cups.

Good luck in the future Marc and I hope that you continue to cross paths with us again in the future. Thanks for the memories.

Agreed. It is really a mainstay of management in any field. I think it does show a manager needs to be selected according to the needs and circumstances of the club and that needs a lot of through analysis and skill in itself. Leadership qualities are also very important too including man management skills and the whole emotional intelligence/awareness and handling of the press. I’d rather we take our time if necessary and get it right rather than follow the example set by certain bigger clubs.

Interesting as both clubs have outlined the desire to play the pro possession style. Putting aside preferences of style or manager charisma it’s believed to get the best results over an equivalent level of player. You could argue if everyone else is doing that it also makes sense to be more pragmatic and do something different. The idea of having the same strategy at all levels of the club does make sense but again we are similar in that respect. Either way it will be very interesting to see our level of commitment to the strategy. Bang for buck money spent on coaching over players seems to be in vogue at the moment.

Anyone who shines here and helps us do well will be likely prey for one of the richer clubs. It’s inevitable and part of our model. It happens with players and with staff. We should stick to our guns and get the best fit to make us a success. If the same thing happens again in twelve months time we go again. At least we will be in a better position and learn from it. I do wish would the powers that be would do something to promote fairer competition rather than protecting the status quo though.

If this time last year we had the opportunity to get someone in for one year who would get us the champions spot but leave after one year we would have taken it. I thank him for what he did for us but let’s move on and look to the future.
-
Optimistic.
-
There are lessons to be learnt here for all of us. Players Staff and Supporters all represent the club.
-
I’d still like him to stay though as we are unlikely to get anyone better. Would be happier with it if we got decent compensation as that could prove very handy.
-
Same here but for slightly different reasons. Obviously us being champions was my biggest wish but then secondly I think Ipswich deserve it the most to get second place. The cherry on the icing is Leeds losing to Southampton. Get Leeds hopes up and then dashed by Southampton (who are a decent club). Perfect.
-
Love this.
-
Excellent. We all love Leeds haha.

On its own a sacking offence IMO.
-
Exactly. He showed that in that documentary series about young up and coming footballers. Well deserved.
