  1. I loved that team and can still name all the players. I was only five but can’t believe it was fifty years ago.
  2. I agree but I would’t mind Vardy starting either. He gives us that leadership from the front and experience we need in these crucial games.
  3. Having Wilf back is really important but sadly we will miss Riccardo as much whilst he is out. He has been one of the players of the season so far and back to his best in a role that he plays better than I thought he could. Hopefully he will be back soon after the international break and straight back on it.
  4. My god. Thought that was a pen. Great reffing
  5. Come on lads. Let’s get hold of the ball and get in their half.
  6. That’s better. We are a different team when we play with purpose.
  7. Someone on the pitch needs to tell them to up the game and be more positive. It’s like we are trying to make it hard for ourselves.
  8. Mavidi gets called for a foul when it was just a fair shoulder to shoulder. Wtf.
  9. We can’t go into cruise mode now. Let’s go out and win this.
  10. Bloody hell. Has someone put lead in mads boots. ?
  11. Now let’s push on and get that second.
  12. That’s why he should start.
  13. Well I’m happy with that lineup. It’s the one I’d have picked and glad Vardy is starting.
  14. Me too. Cometh the hour cometh the Kevin. 3-1 away win incoming.
  15. I agree with all of this except tactics are important. Desire purpose and mentality to execute are key though. Cut out the mistakes at the back work hard and convert chances and we will be fine. Better than fine, we can still be champions.
  16. Football is a funny old game. All season we have been front runners and number one target. Being underdogs may take a bit of pressure off and hopefully with some returning players it might trigger a return to earlier form. If this happens then we could still get automatic promotion but any return to form needs to happen soon.
  17. I thought I was the most optimistic person on here. I guess it is mathematically possible and Wilf does make a difference. Still….
  18. Looking at the fixtures six could definitely do it but I’d be more confident seven is the necessary total for us. Leeds definitely seem to have the better run in and Southampton play Ipswich as well as ourselves. One thing for sure is that all four clubs in the frame will drop more points so it is all to play for and we are still standing pretty. Tuesday is massive.
  19. I agree with all of this part from what happens next. We have had blips before but always had such a cushion of points both literally and in the minds of fans and those who care about the club. But we haven’t seen a loss of momentum like this before under Enzo. He has stuck with his philosophy albeit with minor tweaks but he has made player changes and switched when they have not delivered. I think we are all just as hurt and upset with the current trajectory but let’s see what tweaks and changes are made in terms of tactics and strategy as clearly it’s not working. I don’t think wholesale changes are needed but we need to restore confidence quickly in all areas of the pitch. I do think the return of ndidi and Vesty for example will help but now we have to show resilience and belief to reset our mindset and build again. It’s still in our hands and all to play for.
  20. That was our worst performance in this poor run. Most worryingly we seemed to run out of ideas. No speed in attack and the quality in the final third was poor.
  21. Me too. This is a massive game and it feels a bit like a reset. I think we have been playing well but haven’t quite got the crucial moments right at either end. Time to get it right for 90 + minutes.
