Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official

Well of course - if we needed the space then dont register him (we did this with Mendy a few seasons back), but are we really going to get that many incomings? -

That only makes sense if he was taking someone elses place. Otherwise, you may as well register. -

We have a loan contract. If we dont register him, we still contractually obliged to pay for him even though we can't play him because he is registered. -
LCFC will NOT face any charges for breaching PSR

I really miss the fan cam and the t-shirt cannons. Not because i liked them, but because i really miss complaining about how shit they were. Even though i actually use some of the t-shirts i got from the cannon. -
Why would you want someone to start in that game that hasn't even trained with the team?

Out of contract at the end of the season, and presumably was going to leave on a free if they didnt sell in this window. -
Yeah - but cmon. He's proper special.
-
Its about the right time. I like him more than most but understand full well his limitations. He's a 14mil defender and plays like one, although i don't doubt he always puts a shift in. He's done alright for himself here really and i dont think either us or him can complain really.
-
Not for us though, and we don't know if he's even trained there with the current squad. I get it, I wanted Alves to start too, but it was clear what Ruus wanted out of this game and i wouldn't have had Alves on the bench at the expense of backup for JJ.
-
Or he wasn't what they needed? Don't know much about that club and how they play.
-
What if JJ had got injured?
-
So an improvement?

Its the worst place to put Wilf. He had same horrid games there in the relegation season, and he no where near sharp or smart enough to do it.
-
Load of crap that.

I’m not going to get overly excited following QPR, but there was definitely more of a zip about us and hopefully a confidence boost. Im pretty certain Ayew starts over Facundo. I get the love for him and when he is on it he’s magic, but my word he gives the ball away a lot. Not that Ayew is any sort of brilliance for us but I think will be seen as a safer option for the start. Think the rest will be unchanged.
-
Well, they are - that's the point isn't it, and its not the wrong thing to say so. If they were good enough they would be in the first team. The goal is to use games like this (or good loan moves) to up their level and get them closer to being ready. You don't get better by not playing.

Last season was the chance for him, and that tw** Caden Voice ruined that opportunity. I really hope there is a good loan arranged, because i think he's only going to get a handful of minutes with us this season. Feels to me that its easier to bring youth into the first team when things are going well. In the 4th round last year we played Nelson, Cover, Wanya and Raikhy. I think Raikhy started in the 5th round match away at Bournemouth. At the time we were flying in the Championship and so the cup could be used to rotate and bring in youth, and we could bring on the first team if/when needed. If Alves and Braybrooke didn't get their ACLs they would have featured during the season. At first i was disappointed with the squad selection yesterday, but i think its clear what Ruud was doing and i respect that. Sorting the first team out is his no1 priority and so clearly used this game as an opportunity to do that. I think a Ruud that had the opportunity to start this job in preseason would have treated this game very differently.

Need to be both disciplined and clinical. I’m not sure we have it in us.

My imagination, not a single yellow card today? Couldn't see shit so there were probably about 10. -
My thinking too. Don't get me wrong, we played poorly, and for the most part i thought Wolves were shit. But when you look at the overall stats we had very similar XG and Wolves had 4 shots on target. Different goalkeeper and i think that game is a draw at worst.

Clearly starting then on Saturday

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Chelmofox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
oh - his answer will be political so he can move on to the next question. I don't think on Jan 9th Ruud is going to call the board out over this - i don't think he's got anything to gain doing so. I expect the answer to evolve during the month until we are clear that we aren't getting anyone.
