  1. We have a fan base that literally let Brendan set fire to the club because they considered him elite and thus we were 'lucky to have him', and then almost vehemently hated Enzo because we didn't smash all Championship records. I'm not buying that it was due to Enzo's interviews - Brendan slated the club and the owners and our fans sat there and took it because of who he was. We are a fan base that would be ok with Moyes being bottom of the table because he's a 'safe pair of hands' and once managed Man U, but Cooper would be given a few games before we went all Enzo on him. For our fan base, Cooper is a massive risk.
  2. If its Cooper lets hope he has got it because he interviewed the best amongst several candidates showing the best plan and strategy etc. Please don't tell me he got it because he once 'kept forest up', because if we had done our job properly we would have made it much more difficult for them.
  3. Madders not going to Germany.
  4. It’s reportedly one of the reasons why Poch fell out with the owners. It’s the modern state of football. Crazy that you can help your PSR compliance by selling a local academy lad and buying someone for the same sort of fee.
  5. They are playing Andorra ffs.
  6. 5 years and 1st floor of the Hilton then?
  7. He's worth what someone is willing to pay for him. Will probably amortise that over a 6 year contract as well.
  8. Surely its a one off gimmick? Fans can't decide on anything anyhow so you buy 2 players who don't work out and sit on the bench then you all argue about the thing you all wasted your money on. Sell the players for a loss - won't feel great. They can't keep doing if for every transfer they want to make as they will run out of equity. Investor comes in (football is terrible from an investment perspective) and it will dilute what you put in anyway, More i think about it the more i think its silly.
  9. Thanks - really insightful, especially the comments about Cooper, who im at a bit of a loss with in terms of style.
  10. He's gonna LOVE Chelsea
  11. Of which if hadn't posted on here pretty much no Leicester fans would have known anything about it. I certainly had no idea. However, a huge number of fans are connected to our players on Insta.
  12. I think the players liked playing how they did against Southampton, and it was a bloody good game too. Our players pressed like they were maniacs - we would swarm around them and only gave them the option of going backwards. It is likely that the setup was a result of the players meeting and compromising on the total possession tactic. Would like to think that is how we will setup too, and low block against the best if we have to.
  13. I presume that if the club are pi55ed about it, which they clearly are, they have likely asked to not post about it for the time being.
  14. Maybe you preferred it when we were losing and we chasing games? The most likely reason is possession football breaking down low block. I felt the more open games were more exciting.
  15. Man City need the players they have to compete at the very highest level and push for trophies in every competition. The comparison between quality of players is poor in my opinion as we need the level of players to not get relegated. Plenty of teams playing lots of different styles get dragged in at the bottom. I'm not sure i agree Moyes is a safe pair of hands (i have family who are WH season ticket holders so i heard about it a lot!). Huge net spend last 2 seasons with far better squad and funds than us. 14th last season and relegation form 2nd half of this (look at 10 game form guide to see how awful they were). There is a big danger PL football has left Moyes behind, and going to a team with worse players and less funds - im not sure he has it in him. Sometimes you have to look forward, and Moyes is a backwards appointment. I see nothing wrong with pragmatic possession football. Corberan has a distinctive style that is different to Enzo, and key areas are clearly influenced by Bielsa. We have to be able to compete with the teams in the bottom half of the table, and try to sh1t house wins against the top half when they either aren't on it, or the fixture congestion means they rotate their squads. I think players 'buy in' to a system, and i think Corberan offers that, and he has shown against teams like us that he is willing to play to strengths against more quality opposition.
  16. A relegated side with a huge wage bill. Before there was any mention of Sensi, pretty much no one on here was thinking about more incomings and most of us were expectant of outgoings. Sensi was a huge risk as well. Poor injury record (with a metal plate in his foot) and the expectation was to get him on a short term loan. Deal then morphs into them signing an extension and us paying a fee and getting him on a contract. Actually feels like the club were being very sympathetic to Enzo in trying to get what he wanted until it largely became impossible. Baring in mind our situation (aka - relegated club with large wage bill), if that pi55ed Enzo off then he hasn't seen the half of it yet and what is going to happen to him at Chelsea will blow his mind. January showed to me his inexperience, or likely that he is missing some of the pragmatism to stay at the top level.
  17. Have you actually watched how Corberan sets up?
  18. Yes, Brexit is all his fault.
  19. Makes Enzo's 14 hour days watching TV look pathetic. He is our man!
  20. Is it his old black boots. They were cool.
  21. Is it his old black boots. They were cool.
  22. His PL football was dynamite wasnt it?
  23. A whole £30 has been matched at betfair on this market, that is £3 more than at 8am this morning. It might end up being Cooper, but i don't think the current odds at any bookies is an indication to where anything is at.
  24. £27 matched on Betfair in this market, with nothing matched on Cooper. Betwillypuller.com puts Cooper on 5/2 because Wimsey put a £5 bet on Cooper. Forum goes into meltdown.
