  1. He provided the assist to win the wolves game that gave us the best chance to stay up. A 20 year old when many others the same age where still playing in the u23’s. Bologna were always going to play silly buggers with the fee and I don’t think it reflects at all on his ability as he did well there. With the right manager we can reintroduce and I think we have a good player on our hands.
  2. Comments about the Bournemouth game make me chuckle. It was a competitive game against a PL side, we were never going to dominate possession but that ended up being pretty equal. But the key factor is that we were competitive and didn't simply low block a better side. Its good to remember that they went relatively strong and in the first half we rotated more than they did. The stats show we were pretty effective too, registering more shots on target, pretty equal possession and creating more clear cut chances. As they game went on we looked the fitter side which helped us see the game out. I really don't think we could have asked for more from the team that day.
  3. When did Sterling sign for Bournemouth?
  4. Love a chicken tikka.
  5. 100% that its bollocks?
  6. After 6 home defeats in a row, do you think we should: Give the fans a free coconut water Give the fans a free Chang Give the fans some free snacks that are going out of date in 3 weeks? What do you mean we should try 4-4-2 'launch it forwardy ball? Are you mental. Get the f*** out of here!'
  7. Part of me thinks i shouldn't be. But if thats the case, im all in.
  8. Is that sharp haircut, trimmed beard and turtleneck Porter? Or shellsuit Potter?
  9. Thanks for the reminder - entered.
  10. What has Howe won?
  11. Im not sure. Their promotion season depended heavily on loan signings (not his fault) and then the PL was riddled with bizzare scatter gun singings which had little strategy other than to try and get a squad filled with players. Reports were that Cooper really struggled with managing it, resorting to telling people they were / were not selected via Whatsapp. I don't think you can blame Cooper for Forest, but also i don't think you can use it to guage how he might deal with another project. Lets hope the club interview him propery rather than just think 'you live round the corner from Seagrave - lovely!'.
  12. Yup - good mate is a Brighton fan and doesnt want him back. But the majority of the issues stem from struggling to score. But respects Potters ability to build a project.
  13. Plays backs against the wall massively boring football, looks like he is in a consistent 'mid cry' state. Could never work out how to win away. Sounds perfect.
  14. Based on what?
  15. The more 'r''s the more direct right? I love dirrrrect football then. Gerrit forward!
  16. The best guage is the betfair exchange as this is where bookies will try and 'lay' any big bets anyone may have put on and if they think there is sufficient demand will put in some liquidity for people to back. Currently the market still only has 2.7k matched and there is a small £16 to be matched on Potter (probably one of the bookies balancing a few £20 chunks put down from Foxes talk posters). What the below tells me is its still very much up in the air but most money has gone down on Cooper (and not very much of it either). I bet Paddy Power consider a big bet £10.
  17. 100%. And i think he would be the most demanding in terms of what / who wants with him.
  18. It's more nuanced than this though. Potter and his team might command higher salaries and thus higher severance. There might be demands Cooper / Potter make from the club that involve more costs or disruption. The £4m (which is largely a rumour or can be negotiated) is one factor in many and if had to be paid can be amortised over the period of Corberans contract. What's most important is we get the right manager for the club. Just opting for of the available options might not be the best. As much as we all like to put our own spins on things, the most important part of this is how the candidate interviews and how they say they plan to approach the job and get the best out of what we have and what we plan to spend. What someone did when they were are Cardiff 6 years ago isn't the be all and end all. Sadly, none of us are privy to these conversations, if they have happened at all yet.
  19. Tell me. Who's won more than you?
  20. Not too different to this, when everyone says he was poor for us - https://youtu.be/jyNZxilP0AI?t=146
  21. Vesty looked like a rock and Victor looked steady. It's hardly tournament football at this stage but no hint that Vesty's pace was an issue for Denmark.
  22. Think we are about to find out how genius they are. Could be brilliant or a complete disaster. He has to turn a team around that was in horrible form.
  23. How many PSG fans live in the LA region? Actual fans, and not ones who might have owned an Mbappé shirt. We are talking actual league games here - points that count towards your position in the PL.
