  1. This is beautiful. I'll ignore those managers that don't fit with my own view.
  2. Is that really the best you've got? Fabian Hurzeler? Kieran Mckenna? Two inexperienced managers I can think of just off the top of my head who've done fine jobs. This is classic Foxestalk doubling down on utter tosh.
  3. Quite literally proven nonsense by Enzo in our last season in the Championship. Are you a DycheBot because what you are saying makes very little sense.
  4. You got me. I do enjoy reading about foreign managers but only after riding my penny farthing to the nearest craft beer establishment, of course stopping along the way to purchase some beard wax.
  5. Eh? It's entirely obvious the tactics he'll deploy and the sort of players he'll want to utilise. Yeah no sh1t sherlock we can't predict the future and whether he'll be a success. But Claridge claimed we have no idea about him. Clearly that's not true.
  6. He's been coaching for 20 years. There is an abundance of information about him, his tactics and his character online, based on the evidence of what he's done and said. There's even a video of him talking in detail about his own tactics So whilst you might not have a clue, plenty of us have some idea.
  7. It's been an absolute farce this morning
  8. Let's all keep talking about how pragmatic Cifuentes is until @Finnegan has a breakdown.
  9. 👀 I've heard it's a double announcement, Cifuentes and the signing of big Michael Frey on a 5 year deal as our new main CF.
  10. Some journo. Might have been Crook on talksport. So definitely not a fact.
  11. I rarely disagree with you but I think having seen a fair bit of the championship last season if the new manager comes in and settles top 2 should be very realistic. Obviously it depends on who goes and who comes in but much of this side, whilst not good enough at a higher level, have already proven they are more than good enough for the championship. Getting a decent striker will be tricky on a limited budget, which is a concern.
  12. We will continue to fail long term if we are too manager centric on scouting. We need a clear vision for the sort of side we want to build, in a sustainable manner, with a strong pool of potential managers we are scouting for whenever Cifuentes leaves that will make best use of the squad we have and continue in a broadly similar style. I don't think Rudkin is capable of leading that and our seemingly scatter gun approach to this appointment (although no idea if many of the names bandied about were ever seriously considered) doesn't suggest we have learnt many lessons.
  13. Typical football hipster you are with your basic knowledge of foriegn championship managers and footballing tactics. I BET IF HE WAS CALLED SEAN WILDER YOU WOULDNT BACK HIM
  14. Picking a young manager who plays a style that suits our current squad, who promotes youth and who appears willing to work with a limited budget...baffling.
  15. Likes a striker who can hold up, pin defenders and come short. Probably the one position we don't have a player that suits his overall style. https://youtu.be/SCaJneNJB74?si=7fmb6oAuVSnW-GR8
  16. Post of the year
  17. Absolutely banging set from the Prod!
  18. Looks like a City flag fluttering proudly at the Nile Rogers set.
  19. The guardian gave that 5 stars. I've had to start reading the Daily Mail as a result.
  20. Some crackers tonight but I'm particularly looking forward to the two Gs. Giddens and Goldie. At very opposite ends of the musical spectrum. And of course Future Islands just for the dancing.
  21. Some Waitrose have wine bars. And dry aged meat cabinets. A combination that screams imminent bankruptcy to a man of limited resource and expensive tastes.
  22. Gave it some welly didn't he, not really my sort of music but I thoroughly enjoyed the performance
  23. Ridiculously readable and very clever.
  24. Good choice! We have moved more times than I care to remember and it is always very stressful, though less so with a removal company. Our house is currently on the market and we are hoping our next move will be the last big one. That youtube link to that agent chap you sent has been very useful!
  25. Good luck, hope all goes to plan and you reward yourselves with a suitable beverage/takeaway later!
