  1. From what age did you follow City?
  2. These are class lads, this is my fave.
  3. Di Marco having a mare
  4. Agreed, whilst very soft and hoppy definitely haven't gone the super heavy, gloopy and opaque route with it which makes it much more drinkable imo.
  5. Had a couple of steady rolling man in Brum last night, on very good form.
  6. The Premiership is faster and more physical than the championship. I don't know how this age old nonsense about the physicality of the Championship is still knocking about.
  7. As usual proving your handle is the perfect foxestalk oxymoron. I can think of three women I know personally who understand football better than you do, judging solely on some of the tripe you post on this forum.
  8. I recently visited the Air Accident Investigation board as part of my work. Fascinating visit, if a little gruesome looking at some of the wreckage. This actually came up. There was a crash in 1928ish where passengers were not properly briefed on where emergency exits were. As a result some passengers died, their death was entirely preventable. Following that it was considered wise to cover some key safety points with passengers before flight. You cannot assume what people do and don't know and saving one life is more important than 5 minutes of podcast time. Basically every single safety procedure on a plane is taken directly from learnt experiences where something has gone t1ts up.
  9. Entirely this. Whilst not as negative about Martin as most people here he will absolutely not be flexible. In his interview with Lineker he explicitly states: A) my style now is the same as when I first started coaching just a more extreme version. B) I will remain true to this style, I can always learn and make tweaks but this is the style my teams will play. C) I want to prove this style can work with players who aren't 'the best players' I think he shows a lot of emotional intelligence in that interview, talking openly about his difficult upbringing and how that has informed his management style. He also talks a bit about bringing through younger players, admitted he made a mistake not using Dibling earlier. But he's very clear he ain't changing how his teams play.
  10. Iconic. Despite recent successes still probably my favourite ever Leicester goal.
  11. Clearly the more likely option. But people do like to get pre-outraged.
  12. Always speaks honestly and well aftet games and wears his heart on his sleeve. The plasters he wears on his fingers and constantly chews on are testament to the fact he lives every moment. Personally find it refreshing in the age of identikit managers. The players have said he's intense to work for but when it brings success who cares.
  13. Phenomenal job by Jones this season. Extremely pleased for Charlton, solid club that's suffered with some horrendous ownership, excellent fanbase as well, great atmosphere today in Wembley. I am not looking forward to being my wife's carer later on tonight 😑
  14. What's Italian for fatwa?
  15. The new hosts were announced ages ago. Chapman, Logan, Cates will be sharing the role.
  16. Or too enraged by him having an opinion that doesn't align to their own.
  17. Diabolical game Wycombe vs Charlton. Not helped by atrocious refereeing.
  18. Ffs don't give Rudkin any ideas
  19. Go to London. Go to Tayyabs. Eat lamb chops. Or just make them on your own bbq, the recipe is widely available online. Then come back and apologise. Firstly to me, but secondly (and far more importantly) to Tayyab. I never expected such heresy from you Debs.
  20. Murphy barely got to the table in that session. Ridiculously good snooker.
  21. Bit of a messy first frame of the session but Woollaston must be relieved he won that.
  22. Good argument that a pint of citra in the Welly is one of the best pints of cask beer you're going to get in the U.K. Must get through a shed ton of it, always hits the spot, always on blinding form and lovely balance. It is also a veritable character den on Saturdays.
  23. Small, Jones, Coventry, Edwards and increasingly Campbell all look champo ready. Keep hold of those and get a few decent loans and additions I think they'll be fine. Godden is a good finisher as well but he needs some help. Leaburn and Chucks can barely manage half a season between them!
