Oooooole ooooooole
-
I have never, ever said this before, it's anathema - but you know what Brentford please give us a massive slapping. A pummeling so profound that even the most tone deaf supporter cannot ignore the fundamental, top down issues we face as a club.
-
Bilal's body language shortly after we conceded I thought was telling. Head down, shoulders bowed. Not like him at all. I meant the first goal of fvcking course we conceded again before I posted. How anyone cannot get behind a reset watching this sh1t show of a season is beyond me.

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
Bordersfox replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
Agree with this, very similar age and recently got a PS5 after years away. People seem to rave about Ragnorok, yeah it's pretty, but it felt like I've seen it all before. I got so bored I didn't bother finishing it. That's just one example. That said, firing up the PS5 is a good way to completely shut the brain off for a couple of hours. I do tend to prefer open world sandbox type games so I'll give Kingdom Come 2 a bash. -
Insanity is coming to FT and expecting not to see yet another post about how Einstein never actually said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing etc. etc. It is also a sign I have probably spent too much time on this forum.

In fairness I had decided not to bother quoting you and just reply to Sly instead but somehow managed to quote you both in my half asleep stupor
-
In fairness to Sly he did say ignore the wages. Soumare, I think, will be off. He's done enough for someone to offer, is on a wedge and we'll now make a PSR profit even on a modest offer. Bilal should stay unless we get a silly offer. His contract is long and he's probably not on silly money so if any suitors try and apply a championship discount it's a polite fvck off. As you said the wages are hit and miss but oh, if only Ayew was on 30k a week, we could all sleep easy.

I'll be nearer St James Park station area, don't need a massive selection of beer as long as what they have is in good nick
-
In Westminster area for work next week, anyone recommend any decent boozers? I am more interested in the quality of beer than anything else but interesting/quirky/historic pubs with good beer, even better. I'll also be around Paddington as well potentially. Thanking you!

My wife got me some a Filey Bay single malt recently. Ex bourbon cask aged. Was it nice? Yes it was. Is there stuff out there for £50 that's better? Yes there is. Be interested to know what you made of this one once you've tried it as I haven't come across it.
-
I agree with those selections but I still very much doubt we would win

Went today with Charlton supporting wife and family. Silence until their 20m odd cheat mode player scored. Then sang Stansfield is worth more than you for 2 minutes. Classy. Were then outsung for the rest of the game by 2000 travelling fans. Absolute library of a ground.

Well said and well done for getting off your arse (unlike many including me) and doing something. Personally think getting Rudkin gone is far more achievable than any idea of KP fcking off and that's the starting point of a reset.

This Knighton fella is surely Cliff Ginetta

I asked AI for a response: Blaming PSR for a disastrous transfer window is a weak excuse for years of strategic incompetence that have left the club scrambling to survive. The reality is Leicester's decline isn’t bad luck—it’s the direct result of mismanagement, short-sighted decisions, and a failure to adapt while others strengthened. Clinging to past achievements while sleepwalking into relegation is not leadership; it’s negligence. Fans deserve honesty, ambition, and a plan—not tired slogans and pleas for support to paper over a mess entirely of the club’s own making.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Personally don't think so, I am sure he is getting remunerated handsomely anyway. Nor do I think he'd have kept this bunch of tosspots up frankly. -

As has been said many, many times, not a chance Moyes would have come here under present circumstances. He's a wily old dog and knows a particularly ripe sh1t sandwich when he sees one. -
Can't blame him really, I didn't want extra time either. Utterly shite.
-
Should be excellent, was up in Moray last year and did a couple. Just make sure you aren't driving because they aren't tight with the drams in those distilleries are they
-
45 is basically bargain basement for decent whisky these days unless you are going supermarket, which is fine - some decent stuff, but it's limiting in choice. Prices over the last decade have become ridiculous.

Neh it's not. It's Rhum Agricole which is only 'allowed' to be produced in what was the French Caribbean Islands. So it has been awarded the French spirit designation, commonly seen on Brandy. It's made from fresh squeezed sugar cane rather than molasses. This is all knowledge I've acquired in the last week since I ordered it online, totally new to me!
