A manager who learns, has some self-awareness and is adaptable. I like them apples.

I'm so sick of watching Southgate stifle the genuine talent we have. This has been yet more filth served up. -
I'm at peace with Cooper as the new manager. If he has the self awareness and intelligence to learn from past mistakes and improve himself as a manager then the potential is there, particularly with regard bringing younger players through. However, the fact we wouldn't bring in Corberan for the sake of 2.5-4m release clause (depending what you read) is either just a load of old b0llocks or we really are deep in the mire.

@Bugg it's the clash of the titans tonight as our @tom27111 sweepstake teams meet. I'm going 2-0 Portugal. -
Hales. Say no more.

The Patel wicket was the turning point. He does have a bad habit of not kicking on.

Well played lads, Currie was excellent there and another good show from Goldsworthy.

I've become increasingly disengaged with politics, sure I'll go and vote and seeing the back of these heinous fvckers will be celebrated. But I don't feel Labour are currently near progressive enough to really spark my enthusiasm. As a result I don't follow much of the news coverage. As a result of all that I realised something today that truly sent a shiver down my spine. The vast majority, virtually all in fact, of my election coverage is being provided by @Daggers

Very sensible. I had more than one disaster when starting out.

You won't regret owning a pizza oven, I am sure. However, one of the joys is exploring the quite incredible number of different pizza doughs you can make at home. I tend to make a large enough batch to freeze some so it's less of a faff. I actually made a detroit pizza in my pizza oven the other week, but I was heavily inebriated at the time so didn't get a picture. That said, time is a valuable commodity and you'll still be producing something better at home with pre-made dough than you can get from the vast majority of takeaways.

That is a superb looking pizza mate.

One of life's great pleasures is a solo pint on a weekday afternoon. I always ensure I sit in the furthest corner of the local, making it quite apparent that small talk is neither required nor welcome. Proper Job. Perfectly decent for the location.

Potter is going to get the best out of Postman Patto, just you wait and see
-
Personally think Brighton were much more enjoyable to watch under Potter, certainly his last season with them, than we were under Enzo at times. That might be partly personnel, of course, but even in that video the play is quicker, less structured and more free flowing from the back. I liked Enzo and thought he did brilliantly to turn a bunch of relegation losers into Championship winners. I also liked some of our play under him. But at times it did feel like one cut back or backward pass too many. As I say, very structured and at times perhaps hampering player ability to express themselves. I take your point on the XG as well, but seriously some of the chances Brighton missed were horrendous. I know Ric thinks that might partly be down to a manager having a lack of ability to get the best out of his forwards. That may be so, but really some of their collective misses were unforgivable. If you had stuck a real finisher in that team I think it'd have been a frightening proposition.

Ric Flair Live & Direct on BSLB Podcast

Having just listened to the latest pod, @Ric Flair opinion on who we should appoint as new manager cracked me up. A very angry, dangerous man. Possibly with severe flatulence. -

Feel for Bangladesh there but Maharaj should have been put away in that over. -

Horrendous bit of umping. You could see immediately in real time that wasn't hitting the stumps. Then gave a marginal LBW which was only just umpires call. Not the best umping overall. -

Horrific wasn't it mate? The dancing. Fvck me. The only good thing was seeing Ponting's face before and afterwards. -

This format is so unpredictable, still very doable for India.
