  1. Good point. Our best signing of the window.
  2. I seem to recall @Sambiasso claimed we were very close to signing someone that time that Jack Harrison had a medical but then Leeds pulled the plug last minute. In the immediate aftermath he was placed in the metaphorical FT stocks and roundly thrashed with an assortment of rotten vegetables. Once it came out about how close Harrison was to signing I started to think he might actually know something. Not sure he posted much after that.
  3. Yes but then I remember the transfer window of 22/23 when I waited patiently and BANG we did fvck all other than sold Fofana and got Faes in as a replacement. I hope the OP is right, but that window still haunts me.
  4. That is every interview. By the end of the weekend you will have convinced yourself it was the worst interview given by anyone in the history of mankind. It wasn't, you probably did far better than you thought but the reaction is natural.
  5. Why were his instructions don't buy any fecker?
  6. Seems an obvious play. Flog them Souttar for whatever his amortised value stands at. Then buy Hamer (for a price not at all suspiciously inflated by the amount of Souttar's transfer) on a five year deal. Trebles all round!
  7. Tbf I'm more concerned a YTS painting and decorating scheme involves a full day of fisting.
  8. For the love of God can we start this revolution by merging the Ayew thread into sh1t twitter rumours or better still deleting it for all time. I'm getting twitchy every time I log in and it's near the top of the sub-forum.
  9. This pod resonated with me deeply. It was interesting hearing Ric talking about neurological programming in respect of gambling. One of the insidious things about the way the club is being run is the ownership know full well that lifelong fans, fans whose parents and grandparents perhaps supported Leicester, find it very hard to simply stop following. It's very much part of your personal identity beyond simply a sports club. They continue to make decisions which I find bizarre and at times outrageous but I'll still be watching next season.... Unless we sign Ayew.
  10. Not sure Cooper would be keen to link up again with that type of personality. A lot of the comments about him from Arse fans suggest he's a really good pro.
  11. Dion Dublin
  12. Christ alive that's some collection. I was in Worcester recently and a little out of the centre is a shop just selling hot sauces, including sauces made by the guy who owns it. He's quite bonkers but seemed a lovely chap, his signature sauce is Worcestefarian, which is a Scotch Bonnet Worcester Sauce, really tasty. I bought a few and asked for his personal recommendation for a sauce that was hot 'but not anything stupid'. He recommended Hand of the Wing, a strawberry and lime hot sauce. I paid no attention, just bought it. Got it home and, as you do, tried a little dab. The initial sweet deliciousness was almost immediately overwhelmed by an intense heat that almost sent my entire body into spasm. Several minutes later after I had recovered I read the bottle. Carolina Reaper peppers and some ridiculous amount of pure Capsicum extract. W@nker. I have also been experimenting fermenting my own hot sauces, pictured next to hand of the wing are my latest creations. The darker one is a black lime and Scotch Bonnet hot sauce. Problem is I always make too much, I would be happy to post you a bottle if you can make use of it...
  13. Very little risk to Spain in the transition without a runner in behind, Kane looks so slow. Their high press should carry risk for them, currently doesn't.
  14. That was the plan. The wife wanted to visit the model village, why who knows? I realised it was close to the cricket club and was suddenly bang up for seeing a miniscule church. Sadly it shat it down all day so we ended up doing other things.
  15. Yeah, that's the one. There's a little indie coffee shop and bakery opposite and on the same road Common which is doing good tacos. We also headed out to a micropub around Central Pier, forget the name though. Only had two ales on and the area was dodgy as fvck but both were well kept. I wanted to get out to the cricket club which apparently has a few beers on but never made it.
  16. Yes mate that's the one. In classic blackpool style it's opposite an incredibly ropey sports bar, saw some great characters rolling out of there. Did the brew room also, very nice pub. Was the Indoor Market thing open back then? Was amazed to find Japanese street food etc. in Blackpool, not bad at all!
  17. I appreciate your work. I am essentially stalking the stalker.
  18. Welcome...I think.
  19. Blackpool is better, purely on the basis of Tuk Tuk, a Punjabi street food stall and Shenanigans Irish pub, karaoke bar and Blackpool's Premier lapdancing venue all under one horribly rough roof.
  20. Used to live on Clarendon Park Road but haven't been back for years, is that little bar still around, babelas or something?
  21. Obscenely good pint in Cask and Tap Blackpool, Cactus Cat by Tartarus brewery. Also a Vibrant Forest porter. Great little venue as well with superb selection of cask and keg.
  22. It's a totally valid point, but I personally just want my club to do better than be part of the horde of companies pouring fuel on to this particular fire. And as a kid seeing your favourite player with this emblazoned across their chest is absolutely glamourising it.
  23. Not really. He's highly versatile and can play in loads of different positions across the front line. Ideal rotation player.
  24. Particularly as we are picking up at least a couple of free agents, if O'Hare joins. Presumably part of the reason for that is to allow us to spend some of our ethically sourced B.C Game sponsorship money on a couple of 20m+ players in key positions.
