Irrelevant. Until he retired early he was a joy to watch and scored around 300 goals. -

No way he's going to Liverpool. If he doesn't stay in Leverkuzen he'll go to Barcelona. I think though he's clever enough and he'll continue at Leverkuzen. Too early to suffer the constant pressure of managing Liverpool and Barca. -

I disagree with most of this selection. Maybe because I'm older. Pele, Platini, Rummenigge, Yashin, Van Basten to name a few? -

Bayern getting battered so far at Leverkuzen. Looks like Kane won't win a trophy again. -

Would take both of them here for a £100M combined. They fit on Enzo's system and style of play. It's not happening though even if we had this amount to spend. -

Do you really watch the Forest game guys? Leverkuzen vs Bayern, Real Madrid vs Girona and Roma vs Inter are all on at the same time and I'm struggling focusing on 3 screens. Why all these big games are on the same time so early today? -
More corners conceded means more practice in set pieces in real time conditions. If we stick with the same CBs in PL they'd better improve defending set pieces.
-
They'll be in the mix for automatic promotion until the last day. If we win the next 2 games at home it's pretty much done. Both Leeds and Southampton will drop points in their next 2 games. We win both at home and it's a free hit at Leeds on the 23rd February. A win there and 1st place is guaranteed imo.

Even if someone agrees with the concept/rule of blue cards my other concern is that it can be easily manipulated. We'll see players arguing with each other for tactical reasons. As a footballer I can start a fake heated argument with KDB for example resulting in both of us receiving a blue card. I'm a crap footballer and KDB is world class.
-
We're all happy though with this result. Chance for us to increase the lead, Ipswich still in the mix for 2nd place (and they have a game in hand). I want Ipswich to go up with us and Southampton/Leeds to have a brutal playoffs tourney.
-
We agree to disagree. I find your thinking relying on more hypothetical situations with less probabilities of verifying. My point is based on the fact that a 2nd place chase with more teams involved creates greater psychological and physical pressure on these teams.
-
I have both 2 games on the screen and this one was much more enjoyable than the Man City vs Everton game.
-
Don't get me wrong, I understand your thinking but what's the probability all three of them dropping points today? I'd say around 1-2%?
-
Why do we want Ipswich to lose? Isn't it better for us to have them in the mix for 2nd place applying more pressure to Southampton and Leeds? 🤔

Yup. Absolutely dreadful defending there. No urgency at all to clear the ball. -

Only KDB and Foden can create something in this team. The rest are just there to pass the ball around. Doku and the whole left side are too slow to move the ball forward and Everton's defense has plenty of time to shift with 2-3 players covering their right side. -
Still 16 games to go. Ipswich will recover and both Southampton and Leeds will go through a bad spell. This is the nature of the league for decades now.
-
If they really want to improve the game they need to bring back straight red cards for simulation inside the box. Also straight red cards for players demanding a yellow card after they got fouled.
-
They're due for an upset. 1-2 Rotherham.
-
Absolutely brilliant stuff. 30 more minutes and they were already knackered after the 75min mark. This horrible weather there makes it even more satisfying.
-
Did you prefer Coventry vs Sheff Wed instead? 😀 At least it's the only game today which isn't one sided.

It's not about Ederson. The problem is the ref. He's just incompetent. Even a 5yr old knows this is a foul. So these refs either they don't have a clue about the rules or there's something more serious happening behind the scenes. -

Watching Man City struggling somewhat to play from the back against Brentford makes me a bit worried for next season. If Enzo decides to build on that style of play he needs to be properly backed by the board and do some serious business transfer wise in the summer. -

Let's see then if my point above has any solid grounds. Surely Pochettino or any manager there would have been sacked 5 minutes after the final whistle. -

Pochettino still on a Chelsea job means they know big disciplinary punishment is coming from both FA and UEFA so they're not bothered to make any changes until a final decision is made by the 2 associations.
