Not sure about that. He's been alright though. Bilal has looked the most promising imo. Okoli decent. Wilf and Wout have been utter shit. Wilf should have scored, didn't. Should have been sent off, wasn't. Wout can't deal with a simple ball over on 3 attempts and ends up on his arse for us to go a goal down. A brain fart we're all too used to seeing. TBH the new lads and the fringe players are our better players thus far.
They experienced no threat or ambition from us and so got a bit sloppy combined with us being a goal down so eventually the cowardly "tactics" get thrown out the window in favour of actually having some pride in yourself.
Would not be surprised in the slightest if we come back out and play scared football while there's only a goal in it and try to nick an equaliser in the final 5 or 10. Cooperball!
Chelsea will probably kill us off well before that though.
Chelsea have mistakes in them, the question is whether we'll ever be ambitious enough to ever force and exploit them, and if the answer is yes, the next question is can we do it before we're 4 nil behind?
They don't want to play the kind of football they're being asked to play. It's got to be pretty soul destroying being made to play with no ambition at all whilst simultaneously not being able to defend well enough for this insipid shit to bare fruit.
After dismissing his own tactics, trying to adopt Enzos with no success, he's now looked at our title winning season and seen that we won a lot of games with less possession. Cooper is taking that as inspiration and really running with it. TO THE EXTREEEEEME!
It's gotta be a winner surely?
Surely not? He's been talked up massively as a huge prospect with Kane-like potential. And in his relatively scarce minutes he has a good return. The scarcity of those minutes has come from injuries as well haven't they?
I'd be very surprised if he leaves, even moreso if it's not for a massive fee.
We should do the right thing by Brighton and give them £20mill for Buonanotte so we can free up a loan space for Ferguson. Everyone wins....
Given their manager knows our squad better than ours does, you'd think they'd trust him on this.
Think the only issue for them is at RB. Might be Badiashile, or maybe Fofana goes there. Whatever they do one of them is playing out of position. But if Cucurella inverts then it doesn't really matter.
TBH their lineup doesn't look all that frightening really. Need to close out Palmer and limit their ability to feed Madueke. The rest, including Felix, are far less of a threat.
