  1. He can but only as much as Palace can take him with the full fee and wages paid for the season as agreed.
  2. We're going to piss all over them.
  3. Which form players are being left out there then?
  4. Or that they were working for him but his ideas were absolute fxxking dog shit.
  5. Could go any way. But a Brentford win would be the obvious call. A situation where we're free of the negative tactics employed by Cooper but aren't getting an idea of the new setup because Ruud isn't in place for this game. The best anybody has done at the GTech this season is a 1-1 draw. However, there's a bit of a caveat to that. Although they've won 5 and drawn just one of their 6 home games, they've had an almost anti-Wolves start to the season on the home games. Wins against Palace, Saints, Ipswich, Wolves, Bournemouth and a draw vs West Ham. It's a great run, but it's also a run that's come against literally all the bottom sides in the division, and we're here to complete the set. Hopefully upsetting the trend. Any points would be a massive lift, but a loss wouldn't be horrendous because it's all largely irrelevant in the context of our future under Ruud. Got a feeling we might take a shackles off approach and made to look a bit naive and leave ourselves open to a decent attacking side, only Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool have scored more. As long as we show a bit of desire to win, start the game lively and don't shoot ourselves in the foot, essentially make Brentford work for it, then I'm ok with whatever happens. Then we can get onto the Ruud era.
  6. "Sometimes it will be against an opponent that is better, but you have to find a way to win any game. Sometimes you need to be more defensive and play on the counter-attack. Of course, when you have it, you play, and in other [games], you try to dominate and make the game yourself. We'll approach every game with one idea - and that's to win." What a novel idea. I'd begun to think the idea was to hope for a 0-0.
  7. Mepham got sent off for Sunderland prior to that, so he's done the honourable thing and levelled the playing field. Top sportsman.
  8. Saints doing what they do. Mitoma!
  9. Obviously somebody forgot to use a flash.
  10. If only...
  11. Let's hope he works quick.
  12. Can they overturn Wilfs yellow?
  13. No we can't.
  14. Fxxking Edouard off doesn't help. Wouldn't hurt, but doesn't help.
  15. Just bagged another 2 in the opening 17 minutes vs the mighty Plymouth!
  16. Who rates him at £60mill?
  17. I'd have taken the latter. Barely getting a look in for Arsenal!
  18. No, he said he'd like to manage a club that was in the bottom half of the Premier league. Some have taken that to mean anybody, but I think he was being clever with it and specifically hinting at a particular club that at the time was in the bottom half. Later he expanded on it saying he wouldn't take on a club fighting for survival. Said its too tough a job.
  19. He was loosely linked in the summer wasn't he?
  20. Yeah, he's already managed to equal his best ever season for Brighton with 6 goals. So not exactly dispelled the idea yet given he was no better under De Zerbi.
  21. Ancelottis lad!
  22. I think it's as simple as him being the only manager interested that had been anywhere near that sort of level.
  23. Deserved. This is what happens when you go at the opponent, irrespective of status.
