Circumstance?

Go strong and experiment with the shape or second string and keep players fresh for Ipswich? A mix of both?

If we beat Ipswich I'm coming round to the idea that we stay up regardless. Although that's not purely indicative of us and how we're playing, but our when you watch our rivals down the bottom, it gives you hope. 2 massive weeks incoming.

Not really sure how you can start a post saying drop players based on brain farts and then insert Coady into a side when in 7 minutes of football this season he's turned 3 points into 1. On that basis if he gets a full game the opposition will be setting a scoring record. I'm assuming you're just going with the slim pickings approach.

In slight defence of last nights performance, what was pleasing was that in the first half (that'll be a theme!) rather than just looking to stay in a game, we actually looked like a side trying to win a game of football. It wasn't the cowardly approach we've been taking where we try and sit in for the majority of the match and hope we're still in it so we can try and nick something towards the end. The cup game mentality of league 2 minnows vs giants that's been apparent this season in every first half bar the Palace game. That positive note is unfortunately put to one side though when we come out of the second half and a combination of individual errors and an inability to adjust to their changes had us looking second best all over.

Yeah. Coming up against the 2nd best defence in the league currently outperforming the likes of Arsenal and Man City and having him doubled up on definitely points to him not being ready to start any games. 100%. A half decent winger would have had a field day against them, just like Mo Salah did when they played Liverpool. Totally not overreacting at all.

All of our fullbacks are struggling on a continual basis to both defend and have a significant impact going forward. Should we be looking for traditional fullbacks, wingbacks or using CB's in the same way Ben White, Timber, Nathan Ake have adapted to the FB role?
