£10mill should be the absolute maximum. That's what he cost them and he's proven absolutely nothing. They should be glad of an offer that means they recoup their outlay. We'd be snapping hands to get back what we paid for some of our flops.

This sort of signing, even on loan, just looks like panic tbh. There's nothing about him from a stats perspective that stands out and makes you think he's worth bringing in. As someone else said, why would he deserve to play ahead of Cannon? He's only performed well in Norway.

Well Sara is going for £22mill and that's around the apparent fee Blackburn want. So £40mill. And then if Sara had chosen Galatasary anyway, people would bemoan going for him and be saying we should have concentrated on getting Soule in for £30mill instead.

It's like Pliskin says though, Blackburn will want a lot of money for him. Fans complain that we're buying players up with no resale value and then advocate paying a large sum for a guy pushing 30 with a solitary season of scoring goals at Champ level.
