  1. I'll let you in on a secret. He's been shit.
  2. If this is true, and I have my doubts, then surely there's no discussion to be had regarding loans as you're implying he's as good as one of our best starters. What doesn't he have that would keep him out? It's not as though Fats is a physical specimen or powerhouse.
  3. Christ I fxxking hope not!
  4. He would, but I suspect one reason he's specifically being pushed out is because they want a wedge for a homegrown player who's actually showed a bit. Plus we have 400 CB's at the minute.
  5. If Chelsea want Mads, they don't want him for a number 2 role despite what has been said about a keeper being brought in to compete with Sanchez. Arteta said the same thing about Ramsdale when they brought Raya in, and Ramsdale is quite clearly now an expensive number 2. If you're happy with your number 1 you don't go into the market to find a keeper to compete with them.
  6. Keylor Navas. Free agent.
  7. With all the time and energy that's gone into this, do you think the recruitment team will be too exhausted with such limited time left in the window to get anything else done?
  8. His wage is massive and I think he's angling for Real again. Though Lunin might have that spot sorted now. Also Kepa is shit with his feet.
  9. Now you've learned 2 things.
  10. I don't know why people get so precious about the idea of Enzo coming in for our players. We don't have to sell so we can make a killing if we decide to now we're ok for PSR. Mads is one of a few players we've brought in with a high ceiling that we all expected to be sold down the line for a massive fee. If they offer £45mill we're already getting that before he's proven at Prem level. At worst we can play Stol in his place. At best we can make a few key signings, probably replace Mads effectively and we look at this as great business. We're either going to be keeping a good keeper or making a small fortune which can be used to improve the side overall.
  11. I don't think sticking you in the first team is going to help anyone tbf. Though I wish you luck.
  12. He's been pretty much dogshit since moving to European football hasn't he?
  13. Missed the bus.
  14. I don't think it's worth wetting yourself over though. Will there ever be a saturation point in football? We've gone from being able to watch every game to watching every friendly, to seeing the coaching sessions. Presumably we'll get to a point where players bowel movements will be screened and scrutinised.
  15. With Vesty, Faes, Coady, Souttar, Okoli and Nelson on the books, even if playing a back 3/5 it's overkill for us.
  16. I'm not sure his heart would be in it.... ...
  17. 3 on the scoresheet! Can't be bad.
  18. Yes. Very glad we got £80mill for him.
  19. Which when you think about it, would have the opposite effect.
  20. There's a lot of hours in a day.
  21. Is that your large Brazilian Labrador?
  22. I agree. But I think that's what we'll ask and what it'll take. If we even entertain the idea.
  23. He's coming in for the false 9!
  24. Whilst true we're now in a position where we don't need to sell for PSR reasons and we're also not in a position to be able to afford to lose our number 1 keeper. He's also on a long contract. I think £40mill+ would be quoted. Massive fees are often quoted for keepers, just that nobody comes through. Oblak being a good example. He's had plenty of suitors but he's always priced out of a move. With Chelsea you'd be quoting a figure that you'd hope they'd walk away from. But being Chelsea...
  25. There were a few moments where he didn't look as comfortable as Mads but at the same time he wasn't playing behind the same players either and didn't have the same movement and options that Mads regularly got.
