Marsch in.

We need an interim who the players will know and quickly connect with. MON is a legend - always will be - with Leicester fans, but will any of the foreign players even know who he is? Even the Leicester lads in our squad were babies when he was in charge, Luke Thomas was actually born after he left in 2000! For most of them, it's just gonna be a random guy turn up to Seagrave, who they've never heard of and never seen manage. It isn't what we need with nine cup finals coming up.

He showed much more leadership and fight last night than at any point this season when he's been on the pitch. Giving instructions to players, a little pep talk to KDH when he got sent off and interactions with the fans. Of course, that matters little when we're desperate for goals and results, but it's clear that he was up for it and knew what last night meant to the club and supporters. For me, his future here for the next nine games is either in a two with Iheanacho, or an impact sub. He just isn't effective anymore as a lone striker, and especially not with a midfield three behind him of Ndidi, Mendy and KDH, who do not / cannot play progressive through balls.

Matt Piper just suggested that Iversen fist Amartey

Agree. I think when Stringer started working with Talksport , he made some comment about them supporting him through his difficult times, implying that RL hadn't. But I suspect this is more directed at management rather than his fellow colleagues.

Old gang back together tomorrow. Stringer covering the game for Talksport, Owynn PA for Radio Leicester as usual. Pre-match selfie?

From the LCFC website: Does my 1/19th come as a credit, or do I get the money back? When making your seat available on the Ticket Resale platform, you will be asked to securely enter the account details (sort code, account number and account name) of the bank account into which you would like your refund to be paid. Your refund will not be paid via the original means of payment you used to purchase your Season Ticket.

Piper has been gradually moving from pro to anti-Rodgers following each bad result. Whilst he has certainly been slower to join the Rodgers out camp than most on this site, I think his transition from 'in' to 'out' probably mirrors many fans who aren't active on social media or forums, and were much more positive about Rodgers until very recently. What I found quite interesting though was his assertion that people were telling him he'd get sacked for calling out Rodgers, but that he didn't care. This is quite clearly ludicrous - the BBC aren't going to sack a pundit for having an opinion on the manager - but it does indicate that there is a feeling within Radio Leicester that the increased access they now have with the club post-Stringer is transactional, i.e. you can have interviews as long as you aren't critical. I really hope this isn't the case - local BBC radio should provide independent analysis and not be a club propaganda tool (like LCFC TV).

I don't think an NFC ticket has to have a QR code behind it, but I don't think they would remove QR as an option because there needs to be a backup if, for whatever reason, the NFC scanner is not working. E.g. For the Sevilla game my NFC didn't work and the first thing the steward directed me to do was use the QR code, which worked fine in the scanner where you used to put your ticket.

If the club want to stop people sharing season tickets then mobile tickets certainly isn't the way to go, since with mobile it's now even easier to share your ST - simply screenshot the QR code and send it to whoever is attending in your place. You don't even need to now meet up with the person you're giving it to to physically give them the card.
-
Ah good. Out of interest, did they mention whether they would be sending out the tickets by email, or do we assume that has now stopped? I imagine a lot would be expecting their ticket via email, considering they did it ahead of the Sevilla and Brentford games.
-
My wallet updated automatically some time this week with my ticket for Southampton. Like you, I haven't received an email. Before the Brentford game I went into my LCFC account and there is an option to download all tickets to your wallet, so I assume by doing that my wallet automatically updates each week before the next home game.
-
I don't see why not - they can then download it and add it to their wallet. There is an easier way though - just load up the QR code that is connected to your ticket and send them a screenshot. They can then scan the QR code at the turnstile where you put your paper ticket.

Agreed. As someone who lives in a village next to the junction, not having the crossing in the middle would add a few minutes to my journey every day, but it is the safest way to do it. Countless times you get stuck in the central reservation and can't see pulling out because there are other cars also waiting next to you.

I may be wrong but I think the club want to avoid advertising that you can use the QR code to get in, as they want to push the NFT aspect (and the QR code is very easy way to ticket share). But yes, if you just scan the QR code attached to your NFT ticket, it works fine.

If it's a 2 up front, I would prefer it to be Vardy and Iheanacho. But, given the manager's obvious preferences, it'll probably be Vardy - Daka.

If you load up your ticket in the wallet, you click on 'show code', a QR code should appear. You can send him a screenshot of this QR code and he can scan it in the turnstile.

If you load up your ticket in the wallet, you click on 'show code', a QR code should appear. You can scan this QR code where you usually scan your ticket at the turnstile. I did this at the Sevilla game and it worked fine. So if, like many ST holders, you share your ticket with family members, you should be able to send them the screenshot of the QR code, rather than giving them your actual phone to take to the game.
