It's dreadfully empty of City players. Really irritating that we've got nobody picking up any knockdowns or half balls that ping about.

What have we set up to do? Does anybody know? Do the players know? Does Dean Smith know? I know I don't.

Make Soyuncu captain and give him licence to barrack and hassle our own players, get them going, kick up the arse. Seems to be one of the few with any fight in him.

We're so wet and weak, Soyuncu apart. Get in their faces, be physical. They're enjoying playing against us.

There’s quite a lot going round at the minute, my entire household has been laid low all week.

The only difference short term would be a change of tactics. I mean it might not be a bad shout anyway.

What frustrates me most was I think we genuinely had a chance of getting a point and a confidence boost going in to Saturday which would have been invaluable.

I don't think the most of the back four looked too bad, Castagne is off the boil at the moment which didn't help matters early on and he was at fault for their goal (still convinced it was a handball leading up to it though). I feel more confident with Iverson in goal than I ever did with Ward as well. Midfield is a shambles though, and that just invites pressure and we have no reliable goalscorer outside of Barnes and Maddison. Really we should have bought Ricky on at about 60 minutes when we were getting at them and they were starting to panic, we left it late and well...

It wasn't going that badly until KDH had his brain fart. Whether Young made a meal of it or not it was suicidal on a yellow already. I think the point would have given us a lot of confidence, we were better organised and let's face it until KDH went off they had all the possession for not much end product. What they did do was be clinical when the chances came, and that's something that's costing us almost as dearly as the defensive foul ups.

Well, here we go again. Please, please just get a win and don't blow it all away. I'm not sure I could stand it.

Definitely worth bringing Tete/Ricardo down the right, they'll surely come out in the second half and double up on Barnes so we need to pull them down both sides.

He's so lackadaisical he can't even be bothered to be dreadful. He might as well not be there. He's passed it behind just about everybody he's tried to pass to and defensively by the time he gets there the play is up the other end.
