Wouldn’t be a great look getting staff to stand in the freezing cold handing out beer and water when he’s paid them later than he said and on 7 hours notice …

Watford - Home - Boxing Day 3pm - Anyone going?
Nolucklcfc replied to Spudulike's topic in Leicester City Forum
We need a run of form, not just a good win and performance today. The QPR game was a real kick in the teeth when it felt like things might be turning. Think he lost a lot of the fanbase with that game. -
Do we really want promotion this season ??

You take promotion at anytime financially but I’m more worried about going down. -
Overseen the biggest disconnect between fans and club ever.

Even if we’re losing don’t think it’ll go toxic. No one is arsed now -
There’s a young kid near me and he just stands on the seat and seems fine. I guess you could get a seat at the end of the row so he can move slightly into the stair bit if needed too.

Our pathetic owner is on the other side of the world playing polo and being awarded medals, so wouldn’t hold ya breath!

Tactically it was so so bad. Just space everywhere for QPR

Goes absolutely dead when we win a game as if everything is fine.

This just sounds like a group of people who were memorised to speak directly to the owner. Pathetic. -

Doubt we’d get a statement. How can they defend it? -
A young groundsman left seagrave because he found it too toxic.

I can just see the situation in 2/3 years where we are close to admin and the bloke just wont sell up. In fact, we could go down to L1/L2 and he still won’t. I doubt he’s ever thought of it.

I think we knew how bad the finances are when the club went with BC game.
-
Well that’s not concerning at all is it …
-
Part of the issue now is our younger fans who want to get involved in atmosphere, maybe aren’t really sure which part of the ground to go. L1, P block, SK1 etc. whereas if we had one designated area, everyone knows to go there for noise. Hopefully SK1 becomes that in the future

89 retro shirt has gone on the website - can’t imagine it’ll be around for long, belter.

I think unless the whole ground is on it, which is a rarity … there will never be a straight answer as to whether it’s genuinely good or not. It’ll always be down to whether your area is good or not. That’s the downside of having 3 separate areas compared to say Southampton who’s end makes a genuine difference to the whole ground. The section could be bouncing but the other end could say the atmosphere is dead and visa versa.
-
Thing is, we’ll all moan but still pay it.

In fairness, a full south stand is what UFS/a lot of us wanted but where do you put the whole of the KOP who want to sit? Are we going to get the L1 lads and P block lads to come over to the KOP? Probably not. A singing section next to the away fans with L1 and P block there too with the current singing section would maximise what we have and give us a far better chance of a better sustained atmosphere but that’s a pipe dream sadly. That said a lot of it just comes down to effort. The best atmospheres we’ve had at our place have been before singing sections and safe standing.

Manager deserves credit for getting the best out of him.

Good to hear Skipp getting a song.

LCFC 3-1 Ipswich, post-match thread

They reminded me of us at Millwall. Absolutely toothless. We played with far more energy and intensity than they did. -

Him and Ramsey in attacking areas would be genuine strength in depth at this level. Pleased he’s turned it around bit here.
