  1. Does the club have a formal link with Repton school? Bade Aluko went there too. De Lisle family have royal blood!
  2. Think he’s just showing that he’s still young and raw. Has got something but seems better when he’s pushed inside or left unmarked outside the box. With a good defender tracking him down he beats them for pace but they catch up before he makes the right decision so it invariably goes out for a corner. And we don’t often score from those. Two good goals tonight might help his confidence.
  3. Think it was 1000 kids plus parents. Shouting “we want 5” …then “we want 6”. All our Academy lads - graduates and current three did well. I thought Doyle was a weakness. At this level - ha the foxestalk classic comment - BDR and Thomas were both really good. I’m wanting Bristric to come good so I’ll take tonight as a positive for him. Ravizolli looked comfortable with his feet but not tested. So poor to concede that goal. Good mid season friendly.
  4. I just saw it has he’s trying to show he’s not fallen out with Martin rather than anything to do with the fans.
  5. Did good first half but can’t head a ball can he?
  6. His brother is very excited on instagram! Let them enjoy it I reckon.
  7. Bristric’s brother on Instagram. He only ever posts about Admir’s football so i guess this must relate to him. Anyone understand it?
  8. loads of similar comments on X praising Skipp today !
  9. Think this it nail on the head. The guy is motivated by his pay off clauses, he’s made a fortune by being a blagger at interview. Picks a football style that keeps him in the news, little interest in winning games. Knows he’ll be gone soon but talks such a good talk someone with a cheque book around him soon. Seems to hoodwink players too into liking him and signing for him no idea how. Total charlatan
  10. After Tuesday’s win, the transfer window and the academy lads doing so well when he selected them as the core of the team I was really optimistic and even questioned all our collective hatred for RM. I now know I’m a f***kin idiot who knows absolutely nothing about football. He’s a charlatan and has got to go. Will be after the sale of club deadline of 14th Sept I suspect
  11. Compared to most of you I’ll admit I’m a recent fan, ST holder 3 years, I got into it with my lad when he became a massive fan age 7/8 in the PL winning season. He was born here and feels Leicester through and through, I moved here for work about 25 years ago and have always loved Leicester as a city as I was made so welcome and it’s so friendly compared to so many places down south. Despite all that - and maybe we’d be labelled plastic fans so our opinion doesn’t matter - I care deeply about LCFC. My family think I’m obsessed and they’re right. Devastated by our decline and so very angry with Top and Rudkin. Struggling to know how best to handle our fury, there’s so many contrasting views on here - protest, march, boo everyone including the academy lads, or avoid turning up at all. Sadly my lad has become disheartened with football altogether and has started to replace it with American football. So this likely my last season as a ST holder. I just love going to games as for a couple of hours I forget about all the problems in my life and become totally absorbed in our team and our collective passion. That’s all that matters and if we lose that then the game has truly gone.
  12. Panathinaikos fans may have expressed concerns from time to time about Victor Christiansen’s fitness and whether he will be able to help the team this season — after all, he has yet to make an appearance in the club’s famous green shirt. Nevertheless, there is complete calm within the club! The Danish left-back is working hard every day with the people at Panathinaikos, with the aim of integrating into team training and competitive matches as quickly and smoothly as possible. And all this while he is already medically cleared and fully fit from a medical standpoint. Why hasn’t he joined team training yet? Of course, this does not automatically mean that he is already ready to contribute. His medical tests showed that some of the muscles in his legs have atrophied as a result of his eight-month absence from football. As a result, the player is currently training individually and following a specific strengthening programme, gradually increasing the intensity of his workouts every day. When will we see him join team training and be included in matchday squads? Panathinaikos estimate that the 23-year-old defender will be ready to help the team immediately after the long international break. The break will run from September 21 to October 6. Further evidence of this is the fact that he has been included normally in the club’s European squad list, suggesting that everything in his case is now moving in the right direction.
