Yep, just look at VK for the 2nd goal, he's not played all year. He had a chance to nail down a starting spot, but he gives up on tracking the winger because he thought the ball was going out. ****ing disgrace and a shocking attitude.

Mainly because we haven't given Marti any chance to succeed with his late appointment, no pre-season, uncertainty over the squad, who would stay, leave etc.... IMO he's being unfairly blamed for the mess at the club, people's expectations of this squad are too high. The club wasted so much of the summer, not communicating waiting until the new PSR period so we could fire RVN. Nothing has changed, the club is still as toxic, the ill feeling of fans towards his selection of players like Daka, Soumare, Faes, when in reality he doesn't have many options. Marti isn't going to turn it around with this squad, he'll end up being forced out by the fans, we'll waste more money on compensation, have a smaller pool of managers that will join. So IMO we should have kept RVN in this toxic environment, wait until all the shit players leave on a free at the end of this season, and then sack him. We could start a fresh with a new manager in June 2026 when he at least won't have all the baggage, and ridiculous wages of Winks, Daka, Soumare, Ayew etc. and more of a chance to build his own team. That's why.

Do you honestly believe sacking the manager will change anything? The players don't care, Daka hasn't scored since December 2024. They're not fit to wear the shirt, an absolute disgrace. Soumare ****s up a simple clearance for Vesty, Mavididi misses an open goal. Shocking

Mavididi and Fatawu need to swap wings, they've had a few opportunities to play a quick cross, but don't because they cut back inside.

It was from the penalty spot, so about right then😂.

I've no idea how opta arrives at a 4% chance of scoring from an unmarked header in the penalty area from a pin-point cross hit a pace. He doesn't need to generate any power, only re-direct the ball either side of the keeper and it's a goal. It's an absolute sitter IMO. A player as shit as Daka might only score that chance 4 times out of 100, but any decent strikers is scoring that 80% of the time.

Daka misses at least one sitter everytime he plays. Millwall as an example or Ayew not running onto Ramsey's cross for a tap-in during the same game. They're shit, no debate.

Agree, but I would also argue our current strikers don't make the correct runs either. I can't remember who it was, but against Millwall at 0-0 one of players played a ball accros the 6yard box that would have been a tap in, but Ayew was only just running into the 18 yard box so it's not a 'chance' When we do make a 'chance' it's for Daka and he misses like he did against Millwall from the JJ cross. Any half decent striker scores that.

Not sure on your interpretation of the stats, in our recent games we've had significantly more shots than the opposition. We probably have the worst shot accuracy in the league. Leic 17 - Cov 11 WBA 11 - Leic 13 Leic 16 - Wrexham 9 Swansea 13 - Leic 17 Leic 19 - Portsmouth 8 Hull 9 - Leic 17 Millwall 9 - Leic 12 Swansea was the only game when we scored more than 1 goal.

Monga may not track back at 16, but he had nothing to do with Thomas not getting goal side for a simple long ball, or Thomas unable to control the ball that lead to Winks giving away a penalty. Thomas has been at fault for the first goal concede in all our losses this season and has to be dropped.

Having watched the extended highlights, we created enough chances to score before Thomas couldn't defend a simple long ball for their goal. Thomas again ****ed up for the Winks penalty and was rightfully subbed. Marti made changes, had all 3 strikers on at one point before replacing Ayew with Mavididi. We still created chances to equalize before Daka missed that sitter right at the end from the JJ run and cross. Marti has to drop Thomas, and maybe give Carranza an extended run starting and now find a replacement for the injured Ramsey, hopefully Page. JJ looked a great player, and has to stay at 8. For all those wanting Marti sacked I'd love to know what more you think he can do with this squad he's been given? The names on paper might look like a strong squad, but the reality is far from that, with confidence still very low from last seasons relegation. Sacking the manager isn't going to change anything IMO.

Plus potential managers will look at that and the support they've had in terms of recruitment, then anyone decent will just refuse the job because of it. We need to accept it's not Marti's fault, he's not perfect and needs to drop Thomas ASAP, but no manager has a magic wand for our strikers. Slot has lost four on the bounce in PL, I'm sure they're not going to fire him.

Marti has to dropped him, in each of our 3 losses this season Thomas has made a mistake in the first 5 minutes that's resulted in a goal. Today it would have been 2 goals if it wasn't for Jacob.

So he's not aloud to rotate when we have 3 games in a week? What your saying is he needs to start the same 11 players every single game. That's a great idea when they're all injured in April, and he's forced to play Skipp / Soumare again.

We don't have a points deduction, and we're still better off than Ipswich or Southampton who have signed considerably more players than us.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Having been so anti Cooper at the time of his appointment, I would have kept him now knowing how things have panned out. He has more pedigree than either RVN or Marti in the Championship. It was also a massive mistake to pander to the players who effectively forced Top's hand in sacking him. The players have behaved discracfully and some have effectively stop playing for the shirt since then and are responsible for the toxicity between club and fans.
