It’s a squad that has no future. There’s nothing being built. Theres players who have only ever been a disappointment STILL being picked week after week by a very weak manager. There is no forward thinking involved. Very typical of the club right now.

I’m not even sure you can count Silko Thomas in this. He was signed from Chelsea and is probably only being picked because he’s one of the older “academy” players.

Why do people think if you advocate for youth being given a chance it means you want a team made up of 17 year olds? I simply want the likes of Evans who is scoring for run right now to have a spot on the bench. Nobody is saying we should be relying on a 17 year old to be our main source of goals. But as a different option off the bench? That’s what I thought Marti would be doing.
