How good would it be if next season our squad had a good number of academy lads getting consistent game time? It’s a perfect chance to change the make up of the squad and such an easy way to get fans back on side

I do feel for him in that regard. Obviously don’t know him personally but he probably feels like he has to carry on for his dad which I completely get. Sadly from a fan perspective he isn’t up to the job. I frankly don’t think he has a clue.

Rodgers was a great appointment but another failure in allowing him to stay too long. Should’ve gone after those Brighton and Spurs hammerings. I was in genuine shock that he stayed after them

There needs to be a serious safeguarding plan in place for these children. It’s a miracle the original three actors have turned out the way they have.

Might be wrong but I think he’s had a fair bit of injury trouble. Never like this time of year when youngsters are released. I know they can’t all make it but always seems so brutal. Can see us having a very young u21 side next season as that 16-18 crop sounds like it’s very promising
