Just dock us 50 points we don’t deserve to finish above Wednesday

Why no boos from the fans? Have they given up like the team?

Lehmann out of the Switzerland squad with injury.

Liked him as a player here, doesn't convince me as a manager, didn’t expect him to completely fix a poor defence but we’re still giving away cheap goals and playing Ayew was baffling. I can’t put my trust in Rudkin and Co’s half arsed, slow process to discover a great manager, and there was clearly something that wasn’t convincing for one or both parties 4 weeks before he ended up with the job, probably the last resort for both Rowett and the Club? Massive changes in the summer, they need to get back to finding players for whom it means something to pull on our shirt, again in comes back to Rudkin and Co, I’d be happy to see Rowett given a chance long term with the right group of players but it’s not working with this lot.

LCFC 2-2 Preston, post-match thread

Running out of games, missed opportunity. -
Preston should do that easily.

Just feels like Preston are cruising through this game and will finish strongly.

Saw the goal line technology, was completely over the line, just, but it’s a goal

WBA winning, Portsmouth losing

Thats the problem with the 10 role, and to a certain extent the 9. Historically Shannon down the left, Missy down the right has worked on occasions, I’ve never seen them or indeed Cain or Lehmann do anything in a central position, to me they are all wide players. Just being ‘busy’ doesn’t warrant inclusion, Cain produces zero goals in an advanced role. Only really have Mouchon through the middle. The 10 role is up for grabs because, and I hate to say it, Eiriksdottir (out on loan) and Williams can’t run. They’ve just replaced one with the other. All of the signings apart from McLoughlin are underwhelming, Neville was finished two years ago when O’Brien ran her ragged in the cup semi final. As someone said earlier. When Tierney is your captain after 4 years in the WSL it shows a lack of progress on the squad. Passmoor and Billiard are dinosaurs, simply adding big names who have consistently failed to deliver in recent times. Lehmann benched at Como, benchwarmer in her final Villa season. Neville also lost her place. Van Egmond is basically Aileen Whelan, who was finished 3 seasons ago. The women dont deserve it but the club absolutely deserves the drop for ‘playing at it’ season after season rather than appointing decent managers and having proper interest instead of a half arsed Rudkin who had no plan in place when the previous DOF left Dec 24 and players walked away after late contract offers were tabled. They need to prepare for the play off, and Passmoor needs the boot.

I honestly think we can get out of the bottom
SK3Blue replied to huddersfieldfox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I do think it will go down to the last day, hoping it’s in our hands at that point but can’t trust this lot especially after that Southampton game. -
I booked the Amy Winehouse one, doors close end of the year it seems, I’d say anything listed already will go ahead.

New Liverpool date to be announced shortly by Morrissey.

Denny Draper back playing. McLoughlin selected for England u23s (not good enough for Passmoor’s first 11) Ale was missing on Sunday, Scarlet Fever and Tonsilitis.

Loads of festivals cancelled or not going ahead this year, Godiva in Coventry is one example. I was only thinking the other day how much I like Leicester Academy in comparison to the crap views of overcrowded Rock City and Birmingham Academy. Grassroots bands are struggling against tribute acts, and people are buying tickets for tribute acts because they can’t afford the original artist prices. Such a shame that Leicester loses another venue.

After International Break - Clueless as ever?
SK3Blue replied to Collymore's topic in Leicester City Forum
Don’t see the problem, he’s still out there working. Busy authorising Ayew’s contract extension with Rudkin on the phone. -

Just as easy for them to fold the team than sack him, loads out of contract in the summer. I think Reading dropped from Premier League to League 1 and finished their women’s team or reduced them to part time if I remember right. Dwindling crowds, and id imagine the wage bill higher than it’s ever been with Lehmann and Neville coming in. If they were serious about the women’s team then they would have invested but it’s always been half a dozen players in, half a dozen players out for the 3 seasons I’ve followed them. The signings were lazy, some have links to Villa (Billiard) or West Ham (Passmoor) and ultimately it’s those two who will take this team down.
