Really? You put the game to bed before taking your foot of the gas . 1 goal is never enough to relax.if they really thought the job was done that is complete arrogance.
-
Sat in my motor waiting to get out if the car park, freezing and wondering to myself what shit I've just witnessed. From the first minute we were so sloppy. What an arrogant performance. Got what we deserved , in fact we got away with one. Could have been 2 down in ten minutes.

If you get down there for 11 you should be alright. Took my youngest early in the season. Not all the players will oblige and it varies depending on the day. Managed to get a photo with winks, mavididi, fatawu, casadei, wilf,Doyle, fans, hamza and ricci p.

100%agree with this . As I said in a post yesterday we don't pull their back for around or give them something extra to think about as we are very regimental in positions. Also never understand a team having everyone back for a corner as its just inviting more players attacking the corner. Leave 2 out they will leave 3 back.

Didn't see the game today so can't comment on how we played. My observation of the last 3-4 games is we have become very predictable in the last 3rd . Now super what's his name might prove me wrong with his stats but to me we seem too stiff in positions. I would say that most of the time kdh swill get the ball he will be left corner of the box , play it to mavididi, get it back, across to ricci. Out to fatawu and repeat in reverse. Just playing across the lines. Very rarely see us interchanging positions and pulling a back 4 around. Never seem to create any space for a late arriving midfielder to crash one home because we are to regimented and static. Would like to see us a bit more free up the top end.

Really wish it was that simple to just boycott sky and everything would be sorted, but let's look at it as a business and not a fan. Let's take the boxing day game as one example. Someone has bought the rights to show that game ( yes it probably sky) but you could watch that game live in most countries. Those other tv companies are not sending cameras or commentators to the game. Sky? Will buy the rights for let's say £3m and then sell on to other tv companies for £1m each so msking a profit. If no one ever watched sky that would still make it worth their while. Unless the whole world boycotts nothing will change. It really is shit but while the market is there it will continue.

I really don't know what the answer is. Looking at the 2 previous posts. One saying atmosphere is not a problem when we're playing well. It clearly is. We're top of the championship and yet 3 quarters of the ground are silent apart from slapping themselves with a bit of card . As for the last post get behind the lads and boost them. If barbers shops and choirs us your thing fair enough but maybe a football ground us not the plaice for you.

Nor sure which way your reply was meant. I'm nearly 50 and take my youngest in sk1. We both stand and sing all game. Uou don't have to be an 80s hooligan to be passionate the same as you're not dead inside at 40 unless that's what you choose to become.

Membership is a complete scam. Unfortunately if you want to go to games regularly the club has you by the nuts. Wouldn't mind so much if tickets were cheaper . If I go to every home game this season it will cost me double the price of a season ticket. For me and my wound one over £1200 for rhe season in the kop. There also seems to be a thing with the majority of tickets being category A. Seems more than last season on ratio so they charge £39 a ticket for most games.

Well I hold my hands up to you. I always knew there was corruption for the Big boys . Man City I knew would get away with things . I didn't realise the other stuff and it has opened my my eyes. In honesty I was a fan that didn't want a super league for those guys. After reading that I wish they would all fuvk off and take their plastic fans with them and leave proper football to real fans

Have to disagree with you on some points. We won the league with the solid foundations laid down by pearson and his team. There was a system where the player had to fit both on the pitch system wise and mentally. Also if I remember right we got nothing back for slimani. Lost on musa who was a dreadfull signing. Which happens. But my point is why undo what has been built. Imo it's because the attitude we had made it. As for the bbb attitude., previous to last season it was obvious to anyone watching that we were in trouble. Yet nothing was done. Why because the board, and the players all thought we were too good. Bbb attitude .we all know what happened next. Now the only time in 40 years of going to the games where I have felt totally disenfranchised from the club was last season. Because since going in the early 80s it's the only time I've seen absolutely no fight or reaction to the state we were in and I take that back to our success and thinking we're too good. Imo we lost our way. Yes the success has been amazing. I never thought I'd see it nor did I think we would self destruct so quickly. This season I'm loving it as we have a manager with a clear philosophy and players that have bought into it. Hopefully we have learned a hard lesson as to how to maintain things.

With you on that. Like any business, It's easy to sit athe the top when everything is going well. All the employees are working hard. Money is rolling in and everything is hunky dory the business looks after itself. When times get hard and and ,profits tight, not winning that's when the top guys earn their corn. Tough decisions have to be made for the company and he failed dramatically last season. I also stick top in the blame bracket as he should have been asking questions and asking why things are as they are. Maybe he has got things right this season now his little boys club of him,Rogers and congerton have been split. Time will be the big teller. Ask again the end of next season.

Haven't read any previous posts so my honest opinion is , since the title win the club has been resting on its laurels. From the top of the board to the fans it's been an embarrassment. All were and have been until recently living off the past. We've wasted money on absolute crap signings. Musa and slimani prime examples. Lost our way in player signing principles. Massive contracts being handed out like we were real Madrid. It's like the board were working class people that won the euromillions and thought fuvk it we're going on a jolly for 5 years. Error after error with the we're Billy big bollocks attitude . Players saying we're too good to go down. Fans are guilty for not screaming for Rogers out at least 12 months previous to him going. So to sum up it was a terrible relegation. Hopefully we have now been awakened.

Coady in for definite. Tool who does this stuff out.
-
could definitely do with someone on board to get the basic media things right. I received this today. I'm 49. Now if they would like to give me tickets as a junior I'll be more than happy. Quids in.

It's bloody brilliant although we haven't quite perfected the dark arts as we are picking up cards. Huth was a master of the arts and getting away with it. Been guilty of being too soft in the past.
-
Surely we all want success. Maybe it's me but that club runs through my veins. As a kid through the milne ,Hamilton, pleat years it was my club and I supported them with pride even though a lot of kids were wearing Liverpool shirts. Its in your heart and hurts when we lose, makes you on cloud 9 when we win. Feel like half the fans are there cos they have nothing else to do and it's not a passion. 2014 seemed to really bring that on.
-
Agree with you totally. As full time came up I looked around to see how embarrassing we are. G1 and g2 half empty, family stand half empty. Prawn sandwich brigade half empty and the corner next to sk4 nearly empty. Our fans don't deserve the club or current players. Premier league completed, fa Cup completed, champions league been involved in. How many other clubs can say that in the last 7 years. Yes we have been relegated but this group are riding high on top. If that's not good enough for you to show your appreciation, **** off to the etihad. They have spare seats.

Cheers , Wednesday had people singing Ricki p, conor coady ,iheanacho. So the middle bit went quiet.
-
Who's at the back and who's in attack in we're on our way? Seems like everyone is singing different players this season.
-
Totally agree. The acoustics may not be brilliant but if a whole end sings the atmosphere could be great. Just thinking back to last season and ends that stood out. Liverpool with their firmihno song, villa with Allez Allez and Leeds . All loud where I am in sk1 . We don't get 500 singing though never mind 3000. If we did acoustics wouldn't be a problem. As it is , it's an excuse.
