Haven't read a single post on this so please shout me down if I'm wrong. It looks to me like we are royally ****ed. Now someone or some people have to carry the can for that. For 8 years we have slowly walked into this mess. Pre title win there was a structure. Post title it seems to me a shot in the dark, gung ho . Previous we signed up coming players (gambles like marhez and vardy) for peanuts. Drinkwater who suited how we played. Huth and Simpson, seasoned reliable pros. We have now become like a young chap that's won the euros. Splashing cash on cheap tarts and cocaine. Stupid money being paid to average players. Ridiculous contracts being handed out. Brendan not getting sacked 12 months previous. Surely there needs to be some big questions asked and accountability or have we become some rich kids plaything? Time to step up top and show youŕe capable of running things

Not having ricardo makes it hard for winks. Hamza is so limited on the ball those little intricate pieces of play are impossible. Also opposition can really target winks as they know hamza ain't at the races.

💯 agree , ricardo is a huge miss. For me he's been player of the season. I think people underestimate how important he is to us. When missing it makes opposition pressing so much easier as winks is the sole target. Having hamza in there is a massive downgrade on our ability to beat a press. The midfield looks so lacking at the minute.

This will be one roller coaster to the end of the season. Being honest I think we have shit it. Yesterday we were so easy to play against. Qpr had us sussed. Keep the middle of the park tight forcing us out wide. We then produced nothing. Abdul spraying shots into the stands or mavididi doing 15 step overs to dolly a limp ball into the box. Everything is so rigid. No interchanging. No pulling there players out of position. Losing ricardo means they only have to concentrate on winks. KDH on the right side is a waste. Shut that passage down and the midfield battle is won. Cannon off the ball is half arsed. Sort of presses but not enough to impact anything. I know it's not the future but we now need some old heads in the mix to see us over the line. Albrighton, coady and vardy.

Didn't post last night as was too pissed off. We seem to be masters of our own downfall. Misses a hat full to put the game to bed. We seem to drop deep in the last 15 and invite pressure. Question the mental toughness sometimes, at times we seem passive when defending, both at closing down quickly, also guilty of half turning when blocking shots. Imo that's half the reason we concede a few more deflections than we should. Square up and take one in the face or the cherries. We also need to be more naughty in yhe dark arts of niggly free kicks to break the game up. Another issue when legs are tired is our bench is so poor. Subs weaken the team in general. Horrible result last night but for most parts we were good. Not going to get irate about it, just hope it kicks us on.

I feel your pain. Lived in Wombwell for 3 years, mix of wednesday , Barnsley and Leeds. Most inlaws were wednesday, Barnsley. Leeds are ****ing intolerable. One of those days where nothing works. Some games 1 or 2 might be off it but we had half the team off it. It may well be a blessing in disguise as the lads will all be aware of some of today's horrors and try to put it right on Friday. Don't feel the need to panic . What will happen if you buy tickets for the Friday then it gets moved again and you can't make it, do you get your money back ?

Have to agree ticket prices must be having an effect. For a cat b game it costs me £54 a game for me and my kid. Nearer £60 for cat A which there seems to be more of. We try to go to all the home games and it's been a struggle this season. That's without all the extras , memberships , price of a shirt and all the other bits. Either have to get there early and have a drink in one of the pubs or pay to park. Will apply for a season ticket again this season . If we're unsuccessful again games will have to become less as I'm sure prices will increase on our return to the prem

Am I not understanding your point? If Southampton win their game in hand and we lost to both Leeds and Southampton that could narrow the gap to ,2 points and 6 points. That would be squeaky bum time going into the final games

We are still giving out staggering contracts. We loaned out hamza because he wasn't good enough for the prem. Have him back and give him 4 years hoping we bounce straight back. Is he suddenly going to improve or is it just another stupid deal ?
