Ok . Respect your honesty. Think back to the great escape season. Results were not going well, but that side would run through a wall for the manager. There was a togetherness. Fight and spirit in the side. A belief if you like in the manager.compare that to this season. Players arguing, stroppy comments in interviews. A defeated body language of players leaving it to someone else. That's a lost and split dressing room.

Agree ro some extent. Pearson rebuilt the club, had a real philosophy of how to run the club with players coming in. Sports psychology etc ,allundone very quickly. Ranieri , results are obvious but then we started signing shit. Like mousa and slimani. Shakey did what he needed to to but fell well short. Back to basics saved us . Puel certainly had an eye for a player but the football was awful. Rogers for 2 years was great. Unfortunately his ego and arrogance was bigger than the club and those in charge let him get away with far too much for far too long. Smith , well that was sheer panic. Can't judge the guy given the task in such a short time. Maresca, young manager with an identity. From interviews sounds like the truth on finances were hidden and couldn't wait to jump ship. So while I agree with your statement it all seems a bit hap hazard.

This isn't just 5 games though is it? This is the straw that broke the camels back. Take out the sarcasm about wellens, it's seasons long. The DOF has managed to turn us from the envy of the country to a laughing stock. To a point where we take any manager that had time on his hands. The CEO has sanctioned all the finances and the owner is totally oblivious or too wet to question it.
