Cudicini was in two Chelsea squads that won the Prem but didn't play enough games for a medal, three and four Prem games respectively. He tended to play the cup games more. Hell of a back up keeper. Vesty, Coady, Soumare are all north of 6ft. Ndidi is 6ft. Isn't exactly helping us currently. Guéhi is 6ft so only an inch taller than the 5'11 from the proposed new signing. How aggressive and strong he is, how good a leap his got will be more important for aerial defence.

If options are short for him in January he might come back on loan to prove his fitness and use it as a springboard to get a deal out of Chelsea to a Champions League team next summer.
