Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
Wink84 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
At this point i can only assume we're going for another record. Luton currently hold the record foster points deducted with 30. Heard a rumour Top is obsessed with Guinness World Records and has instructed all club employees to find ways to break records. Wanted or unwanted. They're all the same to him. -
Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

My main hope is that either Top thinks this is enough and sells the club, or actually realises something needs to change at the board room level. We deserve what comes our way. We got away with it on a technicality, then made the same errors throwing money around in the championship, sold our best player and got compo for our manager and it still wasn't enough. We'll likely breach this season because of Skipp and Ayew too. Top is undoing all the good work his father did the longer this goes on. -
Can only hope they print more and sell them as momentos on the website, they'd earn a few quid. But probably not.

Marinakis style

I'm not sure want is the right term, maybe they feel we need him or can't see a better alternative.
-
Playing devils advocate, but they are all super risky and never managed a club our size or in the Premier League were we aim to be. Also none of them have came close to getting promoted (bar Manning who got thrashed 6-0 in the play off)

That's exactly what O'Neill did with us, before he left for Celtic. Look how he's viewed here.
-
Exactly. At best we are returning as a yoyo club going forward in our current state, unless we are able to stay up and rebuild ourselves when we've established ourselves again. On current evidence, playing a certain style of football seems a disaster trying to stay up in the Premier League. I don't like it but perhaps our best bet would be someone like Dyche that has a record of staying in the Premier League under difficult circumstances. I think we'd all love a manager that plays good football, promotes our youth players and we can go and stay up but I don't think that's realistic. I would love to be wrong though.
-
I've been watching that for 20 minutes. When does he finish the bottle?
-
Also a young Danny Ings?
-
I'm just curious at this point. Does David Moyes have a good record of bringing through youth players? I'm thinking he gave Rooney his debut but can't think of much more. Is it more a case of certain managers will only use youth if they think they will make it and others will risk it a bit more? Which obviously comes with more risk. Are there any major top coaches that have gone on be successful by being major youth orientated?

Typical Top, two left thumbs

Poor bloke. It sounds horrendous. All rivalry aside, I hope he gets well and comes out of it okay.

In the long term Maresca has done more damage to the club. He implemented a style that's so specific that if the next manager isn't similar then the squad we have, would struggle. Him being poached hindered us so much too. Now I'm not blaming Maresca, but the board. They were caught off guard by him going to Chelsea resulting in this horrendous season. We're in a much worse state than when Maresca arrived. I'm not saying I want Dyche but I understand why the club and some fans would be keen on him. We need to reinvent ourselves. We need players to show some fight and passion again, not just pass pass pass football. I feel Dyche would make us hard to beat and instill some backbone that we need. But I do worry about the progression of our youth. He doesn't have a good record with this. Much of that could be down to not have the right quality to bring into the first team. Where our youth are at a decent level to our current first team. Style of play won't be fun but it depends what's more important, having a higher chance of getting promoted and staying up. Or someone else that has less of a chance to go up AND stay up. That's the gamble and the trade off. We're in such a position financially that we might have to prioritise going straight back up and build again.

Annoyingly. The last two results and a result against Ipswich and I can see Rudkin and co keeping Ruud for next season.
-
And now he can't run for shit
-
That's enough for me. We've achieved everything we possibly could do. Let's build a club that have amazing youth academy and gives them opportunities. It makes sense PSR wise, fans will love it. Let's get him in.
-
Under a quality manager and coaches this can be ironed out fairly quickly.
-
It'd be Ruud to sack him after that half...
-
I'd rather skydive without the parachute
-
Makes me think the club are pushing it so we get more from a tribunal
-
Doesn't seem like it but he picked the style of play from Peps Man City and said, I want that one like it's picking a toy out of the argos catalogue.
-
This is probably why I'd go with Martin over the other probable candidates. This style fits more with what Enzo was trying to build, we should see more opportunities for our talented youngsters. It seems likely we'd go for him too considering we was linked with him before Enzo and plays the football that top apparently wants.

Robbie Savage has more player of the season awards than Jamie Vardy, our goat? Lol

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Wink84 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I want him to be sacked now with a club statement that they are looking at changing the current structure at the club and will have a caretaker until the summer. We get rid of a rotten egg and give us hope that the club will make the necessary changes to improve us on and off the pitch after the psr disasters and relegation after what should have been a change to cement ourselves as an elite Premier league club instead of going back to the yoyo club we were previously.
