You think a mediocre players gets on the pitch 20 Plus times for Spurs? Delusional. -
We wanted to sign him, couldn't afford it no?
-
You have to have the ball to score goals.

I suspect if you are looking at a genuine way of taxing the super wealthy you have a problem in that there are ways of them choosing where they pay tax through corporate structures, and those structures are enabled by lots of countries which want their tax income and compete for it. There are approaches which are tightening this up, but still quite a lot of variation between tax rates by country. This is not about putting through an income tax increase.

Are they? I'm sure some are, but I can only think of quite lean ones right now. Musk, Gates, Ratcliffe.

There is little point targeting players who won't significantly improve the squad and have resale value in 9 months if we go down. We might not sign any, but we have to try. Also several weeks left to move on to the lower targets.

1995. A great year. Moved to Leicester for Uni at that point and the rest is history.

This doesn't take into account the fact that to earn that you might well need to be within commuting distance of central london. You certainly don't feel wealthy in the Southeast on that kind of money.

A couple is already much better off in those circumstances, and the removal of tax free allowance means these is already a 60% tax rate between about 100-120k.

I'm not saying that would be funny. No not at all. Not even a little tiny bit. I love Daggers.

You are doing it for the horse, forget the rider.

Interesting though on one hand we have people saying we have overpaid new signings and that is why we cannot move them on, then we have the why can't we get these new players to sign brigade who seem to want us to pay whatever it takes to get them to sign even if they don't want to come and we have to overpay.

Worst season in the clubs history incoming.

Its almost like Ipswich don't have PSR hanging over them and can spend all they want this year in the hope of staying up. -
While driving in their own car, alone. With the windows up and the aircon set to recirculate.

It almost like the financial rules are setup to stop anyone breaking into the top 4..

The courts are having nun of it!!

Me neither, 3am kick off. -
To be fair I know this and I’m a finance guy in Mining.
-
It’s not about his earnings next year, he hasn’t been out of the uk long enough to use split year tax treatment so his earnings from April this year would be taxed in the uk, and possibly last year too.
-
The club would and should have no idea how he managed his tax affairs. That’s up him and his advisors.
-
Do we need to explain how PSR works again?? If we bought him for Eur30M say, he is still worth Eur18M in the books, accept anything less than that as we have a loss which takes up some of our PSR losses for the year. So cutting our losses has implications and we are better off loaning him out again.

Context is important. If you post something inflammatory during public disorder it is easy to foresee the consequences.
