Bloody hell. Horrendous events. I hope Donald makes a speedy recovery. Very sad that an innocent attendee has been killed behind him. In awe of the secret service who put their lives on the line to protect their man, whether or not they like him or his politics.

Beyond embarrassing IMO that looks corrupt. How can you not reveal that when you went to the ammunition supplier you found a live and dummy rounds mixed up? I'll be surprised if the Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is not released off that back of that as well. I guess that depends on whether as armorer she was entitled to rely on the supplier, in the way that Baldwin is entitled to rely on a gun handed to him by an armorer, and with dummy bullets supplied by a supplier in fact holding dummy bullets.

Discredited? Much as I didn’t like her much in her Home Secretary days, I do think having experience alongside the secretaries of state is a great idea. Imo Jacqui was unfairly treated during the expenses scandal. Under the rules as they were she was entitled to a second home, and no doubt it cost the taxpayer less than setting up a home in London.
